CHAPTER 11

11.

"ANNIE, can you take the order of table number 10?"

"Okay, ZARA."

"ANNIE take this one too."

"Okay, wait a min."

"Excuse me. What would you like to have?"

"Iced White Chocolate Mocha and Vanilla Latte."

"Okay. Your order will be here after some minutes. Please, wait for it. Thank you."

"ZARA get this one. I will take this order inside."

"Alright, ANNIE."

"NICK and LUCAS, come with me."

First of all, we knocked on the door and then went inside the room. It was a private room where a group of people was there for the meeting. We put down their orders on the table and stepped back.

"If you need something, please press that button."

One of them nodded to us and then we left the room. We split up and continued our works.

"ABY, take the order of table no. 13. ROWAN help SILA to clean the table no. 5, 6 and 7," I said looking at them. Then, went to table no. 4. I smiled and nodded at JENNIE.

"I know what you want to say. I have already informed them and it will be right there in 5 mins." JENNIE said smiling.

"Okay, good and thank you."

I turned around looking at the people who were sitting there. A smile was formed on my lips. I shook my head and went towards them.

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. D'Souza. How are you?"

"I am good, ANNIE. How about you?"

"Look, I am fine and working."

"That's good dear. Take care of yourself."

"You too, Mr. and Mrs. D'Souza. Don't worry, your order is being ready."

"Hmm... you know what we were going to order, huh?"

"Yes, Mr. D'Souza. I have been taking orders from both of you for a long time. I know what you both like and dislike."

"Aww..." Mrs. D'Souza stood up from her chair and hugged me. "Thank you, dear."

"My pleasure, Mrs. D'Souza. Please wait here and your order will be right here after 5 mins. If you need anything, please call me any time. I will be around." I said and they both nodded smiling.

After that, I came back to the counter and continued working. There were many orders and most of the bills were here and there. I started managing all the bills in order.

"What the..." I shouted when somebody tapped on my shoulder. I turned around glaring at the person.

"Sorry... Sorry..." We both apologized to all the customers as they were staring at us.

"What's wrong with you, ZARA? You scared me to death." I said smiling nervously and put my hand on my chest.

"Sorry... I am really sorry... I wasn't trying to scare you." She hugged me. "I won't do it again."

"All right, be careful." I broke the hug and pointed at her.

"Why don't you take some rest? I will handle the counter." She said and I just shook my head in no. "You have been working all the time without taking rest. Just drink some juice and sit in the cabin."
