CHAPTER 19

20.

**ANNIE POV**

When I woke up, I realized I was in the hospital. ZARA and NAELY were there taking care of me. I didn't ask anything to them about that incident and they didn't ask me to.

After discharge, we directly went home and I didn't speak much to them. I don't know how to process all the things. I stayed in a room for a whole day not contacting any one of them. I usually do this whenever I feel uneasy around people and when my past hits me back.

ZARA and others were working in the café. They didn't allow me to work and wanted me to take a rest for some days.

I was working around the room looking at the wall. My mind was totally blank. I wasn't able to proceed with all the things that happened that day.

"I am for sure that now my days has come to face them again. But how did they know that I was working in that café." I hit the table and looked down. Then suddenly, something crossed my mind.

"They said somebody posted about me on XXX web but don't know how I look." I stood straight and looked at the picture that was in front of me. "I know you are behind this."

I took a deep sigh and closed my eyes.

"ANNIE, here is something for you. I don't know who sent it but your name is written on it."

I looked at it. At first, I hesitated and thought to myself. What if there is something else? I slowly grabbed the letter and opened it.

"I know you are in NEW YORK with JASON, ZARA, and NAELY. I have been looking for you and you are trying to hide from me.

That's very bad. Come back to me Baby Girl. I am still waiting for you.

Don't worry I won't do anything to you. I forgive you. That's not your fault. It was their fault who took you away from that mansion and even the hospital from CHICAGO.

If you don't want to, remember what I did to her and them. I can repeat it with the 3 of them with whom you are living.

I know JASON and ZARA are MADY's children. So, think carefully and come back.

And one important thing, I know about NAELY as well. I know you haven't told her anything. She doesn't know who is she and about her family as well.

If you come back to me, I will forgive them for taking you away and keep all their untold stories behind.

Ahh... how can I forget about him, ANTONIO CARLTON. 

You might have heard about his girlfriend, JUSTINA. She was attacked. Haha... Yes, I was the one behind it.

I lean on the wall. I was shocked when I read a letter. I wasn't able to handle myself. I felt like my body is frozen. I fell to the ground as tears were filled in my eyes and felt like something was stuck in my throat. I wasn't able to breathe properly.
