CHAPTER 20

20.

After treating Mr. and Mrs. D'Souza, I was sitting in the cabin. I know I was supposed to be at home after treating them. But I didn't have the energy to go.

Today, I am really happy to see them smiling and cheerful. I am pleased that they loved the dishes. I thought I would mess up but thankfully, they loved it.

I have been meeting them for a long time and I am really glad to meet them.

I was looking through some news on the iPad. I was reading every article trying to get some information related to him.

"It is said that he is still there. How did he know about me? If he wants me to come back then he should be in NEW YORK." I said and scroll down the news.

If whatever he said is true, there should be someone around me, watching my every move.

I stood up from the couch and walked around the room.

"Who can be that person? If I am not wrong that he is the one who posted about me on that XXX web. I even know why he didn't post my picture on that web."

FLASHBACK

3 YEARS AGO

"Nobody will know about your existence. You don't have to worry about all this work. All you have to do is stay around me."

"It's been 5 years since I first saw you. From that day, I have tried everything to keep you away from those things. You know why I did that?"

"Because I want you all for me. I don't want anybody to look at you or touch you. It is only me who can touch you and look at you as much as I want."

"Whoever tries to take a glance at you, I will take out their eyes."

"Don't worry about him. I will deal with him in my own way. Just do whatever he says."

"I still remember that you have never wanted anyone to look or touch me."

What is your plan? What are you going to do?"

"Hey, ANNIE."

The moment I heard the voice I turned off the iPad and turned around.

"How are you feeling now? I already told you to go back home and take a rest. Why are you still here?"

"I am fine, NAELY. I don't want to stay alone at home." I said and sat down on the couch beside her. "Nowadays, I get bored easily."

"Okay, fine. Did you take your medicine?"

"Yes, mam," I said and we both laughed.

"By the way, ANNIE, I want to talk to you about something." She looked at me.

"Yeah sure. What happens? Is everything okay?" I was worried when I heard her.

She stood up and went towards the door. She glanced outside the cabin and locked it. Then, she came and sat beside me.

"What happens?" I asked her and held her hands.

"ANNIE... Do you know ANTONIO? Tell me the truth, ANNIE."

"Why are you asking about him?" I looked away trying to avoid her. "I don't know him."

"Look at me, ANNIE." She grabbed my chin and made me face her. "We are aware that you know him."
