The trip was long and tiring. I'd spent most my time curled into my blanket, thoughts swirling around my head. It had been about two years since I spoke to the Beifong family and I was a bit anxious.I'd only ever got along with Suyin and even then she for angry easily, much like her mother. Usually Izumi and Lin would run off and talk about their boyfriends.
I'd never had much interest in finding a boyfriend, though Izumi tried many times to set me up with old friends. She even once tried to set me up with Bumi, which backfired as my father found out and scolded the both of them. Bumi and I still joke about it, as neither of us had interest in each other.
"Y/N." A knock arose at my door, and I flipped my quilt off of my body. "Please get ready, we are here." Izumi smiled, pushing my door open. My eyes skimmed down my gown strewn across my armchair.

The three of us, and uncle Iroh stood at the side of the boat. We quietly made our way through Republic City, hands to our sides just like how my mother taught. "Lord Zuko." Toph bowed, her daughters following her lead. "Toph Beifong, how lovely t'is seeing you." My father smiled, as she lead us into her home.
"Izumi, Y/N. Lord how big you've both gotten." Toph smiled, even though she couldn't see us. "You can bunk with Suyin and Lin but I'd prefer you both stayed with Su. Lin is going through a bit." She smiled, pointing down the hall.
