The next morning was rough. Lin was sad, she cried constantly and it seemed like nobody could get her to stop. She stayed in my arms throughout the past night, but I had business to attend to. She still hadn't told anyone what happened, and within the night it seemed as if Tenzin had disappeared. I couldn't shake the feeling that it had something to do with him. 

"Y/N, how is she feeling?" Kya asked, her hands holding the door knob. "She finally dozed off. I still don't know what even happened." I respond, adjusting my posture. "I'm not completely sure either, maybe I should ask Tenzin or Bumi?" She offered, I nodded and she made her way out of the room. It felt like hours had gone by without anyone checking in on her. Everyone had practically put me on Lin watch, even her mother. 

"Y/N." Kya knocked, the door slid open revealing the girl. "I was able to talk to Bumi, he said that Tenzin broke up with her because he wanted to repopulate the air temples and she was against having kids." Kya frowned, I couldn't help but feel my heart wince. "That is awful." I frowned, looking toward Lin. 

I could see both sides though, and admittedly I felt happy that Tenzin had broken things off. 
Tenzin's life duty is to repopulate the air temples, he is one of the last air bender's alive. However, he cannot repopulate with someone against having kids. He could have done it under better circumstances though. Lin has always wanted to impress her mother, she wants to even become to chief of police eventually. She can't do that if she's always pregnant. Both of their dreams matter and are important, they just weren't the right match. 

"I just can't believe how selfish my little brother is." Kya sighed, plopping down beside me. "Is it really selfish that he put his father's dream above himself?" I ask, turning to the girl. "He should have done it better, politer, from what I heard he told her that she just wasn't good enough to be his wife and that he had already found another. An air acolyte." Kya frowned. 

Oh, oh, so this man wants to fight? Let's tango Tenzin.
