Sara

This is the last part of our trip. We are staying here for the remaining two weeks before heading back home. We have booked at the Swahili Beach and of course, we got the executive room that has access to a very spacious balcony and pool. And since we have 14 days to enjoy this beautiful place, we have booked ourselves full with activities.

OF course, water sports are on the list. We will take the kids whale shark sightings as well. Most of the water sports we've signed up for are kid-friendly but we also signed up for scuba diving, something Jessica and I can do together as a couple.

Then we are also going to a small rainforest park called Shimba Hills National Reserve. In there we also get to see the elephant sanctuary

Since the children, especially Luke, loves all kinds of animals, we are taking them to Kitsite-Mpunguti Marine Park, a protected sanctuary of coral reefs and small islands inhabited by dolphins, turtles, birds, and different kinds of fish.

We arrive at the resort and checked in. Jessica and Sofia have been extra clingy together. Jessica told me that Sofia has called her 'Mommy' and every time she remembers it, tears come rolling down her eyes. I am so happy for her really, but how I wish Luke would call me 'Mama' already.

"Here we are! You like the room Babe?" I said as I opened the door that led to our suite. The kids wiggled their way out from both of us and ran to the special gift the resort has provided for them. It was a box full of stuffed animals that are popular in Africa.

"Honey it's beautiful! Thank you!" Jessica exclaimed in excitement and kissed me. As she pulled away, we both looked at the kids, happily playing with all the toys.

"Good luck with our baggage when we fly back home." I chuckle.

"We need to upgrade our baggage allowance!"

Jessica

"So, you want to head out and grab brunch by the beach?" Sara asked.

"I'm sorry Honey but I am soooo tired. I just want to do a quick shower and hit the bed. But you guys go. I'll meet you somewhere in the afternoon?"

"Yeah, no, you rest Baby. I'll just feed the kids and we'll head right back. I'll put them down and lie with you after."

"Sounds like a plan. Thank you, Honey." I gave her a faint smile

"I love you!" Sara said as she bent down to give me a kiss. Oh, the way she kisses me. Full of love.

"I love you too." I whispered as I kiss her back.

As soon as the left, I went in the bathroom. There was a huge bathtub and a full wall shower with panels and surrounds. I decided to use the tub so I can relax my already tensed body from all the flying and long car drive. As soon as I settled on one side of the tub, I leaned back and closed my eyes. That's when my thoughts drifted to conversations I've had with my ex-husband.

"No, you cannot possibly raise my son in a house with THAT kind of environment!' He shouted.

"What do you mean my 'THAT environment'?!" I shouted back.

"You know what I mean Jessica. What you and Sara are doing, the relationship you have, if that's even considered a relationship – that's not right! It's not healthy! It's not clean! I won't have MY son be anywhere near that!"

"How dare you criticize my relationship and the kind of home we have! Look at you! Not because you're a guy and whatever fantasy you have about what a relationship should be means you gave us 'healthy' life! All you ever did was to hurt us! You lay your hands on me whenever you feel like it! You go sleep around with God knows who every single fucking night! And you have the audacity to act as if everything is okay between us? Oh! And by the way, he is NOT your son! Luke is MY son! You never even laid eyes on him from the day he was born! Heck you did not even care when I was pregnant with him. In fact, you accused me of having an affair and kept denying he was yours! All you ever do with him is shout at him! So, no, he is NOT your son!"
