Jessica

"Sa—Sara...!!!" I shouted in almost a whisper, as I tried to sit up from our bed. Since my 30th week, I have been advised to do bedrest as I have had threats of premature labor. I am now on my 34th week and I am having back pains. "Sara!!!" I then heard her running from downstairs up to our room.

"What's wrong Baby? Are you okay?" She asked, trying to catch her breath.

"My back really hurts. I'm having stomach cramp... Ouchhhh..." Tears were threatening to fall.

"Lie down to your side, here let me massage your back."

"It's not helping Honey. There could be something wrong with our babies."

"Nothing is wrong, Baby, don't think that way. We've come a long way and we're two weeks away from seeing our beautiful girls."

"But the pain is too much..." I cried even more.

"Here, let me call Dr. Parker." Sara grabbed her phone from her night table and spoke with the doctor. After a few minutes she sat back beside me.

"What did she say?"

"She said I need to take you to the hospital now, it could be premature labor. She has to check."

"Oh my... Okay.."

Sara

We are now at the labor room and Jessica's been hurting way too much. It's crazy having just one inside you, what more having two. I kept running my hands on her lower back, hoping to ease her pain.

"Honey... This is driving me crazy!" I can see the tears falling from her eyes which makes me want to cry with her.

"I know Baby, I'm sorry if only I could help you with that..."

"Why don't you take the baby one and I take baby two?"

"You still found it in you to make a joke. You're funny!"

"Okay Jessica, your contractions are getting closer and constant, lie down so I can check on you." Dr. Parker said. I helped Jessica up and held her had as I slowly caressed her head and places soft kisses on her forehead.

"I feel like pushing now. Can I push?"

"Not yet. Not until you're fully dilated. Now open your legs."

"I really want to pu--- OUUUCCCHHHH SARAAAAAA!!!!!!" She squeezed my hand so tight it felt like it was about to lose blood.

"Now you can. You're 10cm now. On my go, you push, okay? Sara, you can stay there with her and hold her hand."

"I don't think I can do this Honey. It's too painful, it'll kill me!" She was crying and all I could really do was hold her and kiss her.

"You can do it, Baby. Just follow what Dr. Parker says and in a few minutes we'll have our girls in our arms. Okay? I love you."

"Okay Jessica, another contraction is coming... 1... 2... push!" The effort Jessica gave in oushing was doubled with her grip on mine. With every push, with every scream, I as just completely falling in love with my wife.

As she pushed one more time, baby 1 came out crying so loud! I could not help but let tears fall from my eyes as I hear our baby's crying. It was music to my ears. I looked at Jessica and kissed her.

"Come on, Momma, why don't you cut the cord?" At that, I came over where the doctor was and cut the cord.

"She's beautiful, Jessica. Oh so beautiful. Hey Baby... I am your Mama... I love you so much..."

After 10 minutes, baby 2 came and was just as loud as her sister.

"You did an amazing job, Baby... Our girls are so beautiful!"

"I want to see them but I am so damn tired. I want to sleep..."

Jessica

After two days, we were discharged with both our girls being healthy and passed all the new born tests with flying colors.

As we entered our front door, we were met by a surprise welcome home party by our entire family and friends. The cast and crews were all present too.

"So, are we getting the honors of knowing our granddaughters'' names yet?" My Dad asked as he and the rest of the grandparents cooed at their newest granddaughters.

"Yeah, in a few. We just need to find Eric first." I said.

A few minutes after, Eric rejoined the rest of the gang after finishing up the ribs her was baking. Sara and I went to the center of the living room holding one baby each. Baby 1, the one with blue eyes like mine is with Sara, and Baby 2, with ash-grey eyes, is with me.

"Thank you everyone for this welcome home party. My wife and I appreciate it. Since the start of our relationship, all of you have been very supportive of us. With all the ups and downs we've been through, not one of you wished us to just break it off. As you all know, prior to these two little ones, we already have four children whose stories you all know. Jessica and I has always wanted a big family and we are beyond thankful that Eric has been the reason why we were able to bring these two beautiful girls here, had Elira survived, she would have been here with us celebrating her sisters." Sara said so beautifully. Oh, how I miss our daughter, Elria. She may not have lived outside my body but the bond we were able to established with her was something that can never be forgotten nor replaced.

"Eric, if you won't mind coming up here with us please?" I asked and as soon as he stood in between Sara and I, I continued, "Eric... As your best friend and little sister, I cannot thank you enough for always being there for me since we were little kids up until today. You have always been there for me no matter what. You supported me, talked sense to me, guided me, loved me, loved Sara, loved our kids like they were your own. The day Sara proposed, you offered us a gift that could bring life and so much joy in to this world. This gift was more than anyone could ever ask for, could ever dream of. It's priceless. Genuine. I love you so much, Eric, and I hope you won't be mad at me or Sara for doing this but the only way we could think of to really thank you for everything was doing this... Eric, meet your daughters..."

Sara faced him and handed the baby as she said, "This is Baby 1, with blue eyes just like Jessica's and her name is Savannah Benedicta."

"And this one came out 10 minutes after Savannah, one with ash-grey eyes just like yours, is Willow Dorothea... Savannah and Willow, meet your Daddy..." I followed, holding my arm higher to him.

"Daddy? Sara... Jessica... I told you both I could just be the ---"

"We know what we said and we won't allow it. Not after everything you've been with and for us." I cut him off. We knew he was serious with what he told us before but we just won't allow it."

"Thank you... This means a lot to me. I now have six kids... Luke, Sofia, Matteo, Elira, Savannah, and Willow."

It dawned to me that he was right. We now have six kids. Do we want more?
