Sara

We arrived at the Giraffe Manor just in time for breakfast. Jessica and the kids were already hungry but we opted to wait until we arrive at the Manor. I know we have four days at the manor but we don't want to miss any opportunity to make memories.

"I have a surprise for you Baby." I looked at Jessica as we sat side by side at our airport transfer.

"What's that Honey?" She looked at me, looking really tired.

"I upgraded our room. Instead of staring at the Kelly room, I got is The Karen Blixen."

"Really? But wait, I thought that was not available?"

"They had last minute cancellation and I left a special instruction with their Manager to email me if, by chance, it becomes available."

"Thank you Sara. I appreciate it. You know I loved that room's balcony." She kissed my cheek and leaned over my shoulder as I leaned my head over hers.

Jessica does not have an idea that this trip is packed with load of surprises. I just hope she'd like them.

45 minutes after, we arrived at the manor and Luke clapped seeing the giraffes. Luke really loves animals and whenever he's fussy, animals help calm him down. For a split second I day dream of our son becoming a Veterinarian someday.

Jessica sat on the breakfast table set for us as I head to the front desk to give our bags and give instruction to the manager not to discuss any activities I had planned as it was a surprise. The manager gave me his assurance and instructed his staff as well.

I head back to our table and I can see Luke reaching his hand out to one of the giraffes as Jessica is helping Sofia with the other giraffe. The three of the giggled and laughed and kept feeding the giraffes.

"It's so lovely to see the kids enjoying this. I'm surprised Sofia was not scared." Jessica looked at me as I sat across her.

"Oh she always follow Luke's lead. She really looks up to him. They have this certain connection and understanding, a bond between siblings like they are assuring each other that they are safe and all that. I love it."

"Yeah. They love each other so much."

"And I love you. Always." I sounded pleading, not getting my eyes off of her.

"I love you too. Forever. I do." She said as she smiled and a tear formed in her eye.

"Mommy cry?" Luke asked as Jessica wiped her tear away.

"Oh no baby. I just had a dust enter my eye. Mommy is okay."

"Okay. I love you, Mommy. I love you Mama."

"We love you more..." Jessica and I answered back in unison.

Jessica

After breakfast, we head to our suite. I showered the kids as Sara does the changing. We put them down for a nap. Once they were down, I headed to the shower and took a quick one. Sara went back down to the front desk to get something. I don't know what it was but she said she'll be quick.

I went to the bed and listened to Sara's song for me for today.

🎶 I believe in you and me. I believe that we will be in love eternally. Well, as far as I can see. You will always be the one for me. I believe in dreams again. I believe that love will never end. And like the river finds the sea, I was lost, now I'm free. Cause I believe in you and me. I will never leave your side, I will never hurt your pride. 🎶
