The Big Four (And Friends) In Hogwarts

Chapter 16

Merida POV

"Dementors?" I ask quizzically. Pitch nods quickly.

"Exactly. We've convinced people that we are Dementors. There's not just us, either. The hundreds of thousands are guarding jails, hiding out, training to be bigger, better than before. We're the Hogwarts sect, but there's one in Hosmeade as well, plus the ones guarding Azkaban, and even our Headquarters." He paused, before adding, "But we can't tell you where they are. You're not a Dementor yet."

All through Mrs Dunn was nodding approvingly. Now she spoke. "So, Merida, you in?" I know there was only one answer.

"I'm in," I replied, trying to sound confident. If I had a weak spot, my cover would be blown. "What do you want me to do first?"

She smiled evilly. "I want you to call up the Basilisk," she said calmly. "Hans, our Parseltoungue, hasn't been able to do it. So, your turn."

You shrugged. Whatever it takes to get out of here. "So, what do I do?"

Hans, aka Sideburns Boy, replied. "Just say, 'Come to me, scaled beauty.' But in Parseltoungue."

"Um okay," I reply. "So, like this..."

Hiccup POV

I saw Merida frown. "So, like this?" She asked, then slapped Hans across the face, then spinning around and kicking Pitch in the stomach. Heather followed her lead and tackled Mrs Dunn. She stood up a moment later, a ring of keys in her hand. She smirked, then punched Mrs Dunn in the head. "Just for good measure," she added lightly.

She handed the keys to Merida, and Merida came around unlocking the locks on the chairs. When she came round to me, I whispered, "Nice job Mer, now, let's finish this year." She nodded and pulled off the chain that was binding me. Soon, everyone was up and stretching stiff limbs. I saw Astrid walk up to Heather. Oh no, I thought.

She punched her on the arm, and said, "Thats for stealing my dragon," then hugged her and said, "That's for everything else."

I cleared my throat. "Um guys?" I asked. "What are we gonna do with these crooks?"

Jack smiled evilly. "Oh, don't worry about that. I'll just fly them up to Sagewhisper's office with a note clasped in their hands. Even Mrs Dunn. Then I can finally get started on my end of year prank."

I raised my eyebrows, but didn't reply. I knew better than to ask.

"Well, Let's all get going. See you in class?"

"Yeah."

"Alright Hiccup."

"See ya soon mate."
