3rd Person
The whole school, pupils, teachers, beasts and all, were assembled in their Houses in the Great Hall. Everyone was waiting for the scores. Prof. Sagewhisper stepped up to the stand, his voice amplified by a spell. He addressed the Houses.
"Slytherins, Gryffindors, Ravenclaws, and Hufflepuffs, welcome to the annual end-of-year assembly. You are all, obviously, waiting for the announcement of the winners of the House Cup. So, let's get started."
The crowd tittered, waiting for the winners. A boy from Slytherin said that they were going to win. An annoyed Ravenclaw replied indignantly. "No, we are!"
Immediately, the crowd was sent into cacophony, with rough-housing and angry shouts. Great, Jack thought. The perfect time to launch my prank. He nodded to his friend, Jamie, and Jamie nodded to Sophie, who was hiding in the back of the Hall. She hit the button, and the room exploded. Literally. Okay, not literally.
Everyone was covered in a thin layer of goo, coloured ice blue. Then the pumpkins fell from the rafters, knocking some people unconscious. All they would have was a small egg on their head. Now, it was time for the piece de resistance. The dragons.
Even Jack couldn't believe he'd managed this one. He had collected dragons from all over the grounds, from Gronkles to Thunderdrums to Terrible Terrors. They were everywhere, in the rafters, in the crowd, and one, a Deadly Nadder, was wearing Sagewhisper's hat. Jack smiled evilly. Time to go!
Sagewhisper's voice boomed out over the clamour. "I see you leaving, Jack. Don't you want to know who won the House Cup?"
Jack turned. "No. I'm going to leave this school for magic. I have magic already." He twisted his staff and flew out a hole one of the dragons had made in the wall. He flew to the train station and got a cabin for him and his friends. That's the one thing I'm going to miss, he thought. My new friends.
