"Answer me, if you don't want me to call the police."

My lips parted in disbelief when he said that. Parang ang OA naman niya. I mean, police agad?

"Uh, I think, I entered the wrong room.

["Tear, you can't go outside, yet. They're checking every room on that floor."]

"Fuck!" I mumbled.

Before I could think of a good plan to save myself and the vault, someone knocked again and I didn't see it coming when the guy behind me stepped forward and opened the door.

"Magandang gabi, Sir. May nakita ho ba kayo ditong tatlong babae?

I stopped breathing while waiting for his answer. I raised my dagger and was about to threaten him when he spoke.

"I haven't. Next time you bother someone, make sure it's worth their while because clearly, it's not worth mine. Go away," he said in a strict and cold voice that even I felt bad for the guy who was looking for me. Pero nakahinga naman ako ng maluwag.

The side of my lips rose with his answer. Nice answer. Very nice. Even his voice was nice.

I rolled my eyes at what the man said. Yeah, right.

Then, our eyes met for the first time. Well, at least, that's what I thought.

"You owe me. I just saved your ass."

My lips parted in shock when I recognised his face. His pair of blue-grey eyes enchanted me just like how it did when we first met. I thought when I saw him this afternoon, that it's going to be the last time we'd see each other but how would I explain seeing him again, now?

"Are you just going to stare at me?"

Napakurap naman ako sa sinabi niya. Shit! How long was I staring?

"Anong pinagsasabi mo diyan?" Tanong ko. "Paano mo naman ako iniligtas?"

"By lying that I haven't seen you. That man is looking for you and your accomplices, right?" He spoke with certainty.

I scoffed.

I was about to leave when he placed his hand on the door. I almost uttered a curse when I couldn't help but admire his handsomeness.
