"Hi I'm Callum, thanks for listening."
He sits on a stool and begins to play his guitar.
"That's my yoga instructor. I told him to come he was bringing friends." You explain.
"Honestly Nell you are a man magnet. Your also the best wing woman ever." Poppy says.
You all order more cocktails and sit together listening to the music. As Callum steps down from the stage you notice each other and give a little wave.
"So I am hoping she will come up here and give you all a song. Nell? You feeling it?" Mark said into the microphone.
Oh dear that wasn't planned. You knew he would get you up but you didn't know if you were ready.
Looking around at your friends they look at you with confused eyes and encourage you up onto the stage.
"Thank you. So this is a new song I have written about something that recently occured to me. I hope you like it."
(Pretend this is your song and your playing the guitar)
As your singing the song and playing the guitar you gaze around the room, everyone is sitting watching you with wide eyes. Your friends are looking at you in awe. Your parents proudly looking on.
Then in the far left corner of the restaurant you see a beautiful smiling face that you really weren't expecting.
When you finally finish the song, the restaurant applauds you and you leave the stage to walk back to your friends. You didn't want to ignore Chris but it was awkward right. You didn't know he would be here. You weren't expecting him back.
Things were about to get interesting.
"Wow Nell we didn't know you could sing like that. You are amazing. What else are you good at because it seems like everything?" Amelia asked.
"I can bake pretty well. I promise I'm not that amazing." You joke.
Looking over to Chris he gives you a little clap and you smile widely at him. Taking out your phone you bring up his name.
Me-
Meet me in the corridor! You stand and excuse yourself from the table and head towards Chris' table. You nod at him on your way past and notice that he is with Scott.
Waiting for him to join you let out a small sigh. When he finally walks towards you looking gorgeous in all black, his hair pushed back from his face and his beard a little long, you grin widely at him.
"What are you doing here?" You whisper pulling him in for a kiss.
"We booked ages ago. We like coming to the open mic nights. You can really sing!" He kisses you again. "I must say the song was amazing. Did you really write it?"
"Of course I did. Did you like it?" You ask.
"I did indeed. Very good. Who knew you were talented at so many things?"
He leans in to kiss you again but you are interupted by Pete walking down the corridor to the office.
"Pete. Oh my god I'm sorry." You go bright red and cover your face.
