You had always kept yourself to yourself. Growing up almost alone and always keeping the straight and narrow. When things didn't go to plan in New York with your long term boyfriend Nathan you moved back to Boston to be closer to family and friends...
As the show wraps up Seb and Anthony find you again and you make plans for the evening.
"We will pick you up. We have our favourite place to head to." Seb suggests. "Be ready for eight?"
"I can do that. Although I don't know if I actually packed anything suitable to go to dinner." You reply knowing full well you have work clothes and an outfit to wear home on the plane. You planned on relaxing in the hotel room after the press stuff. Obviously that wasn't going to happen.
Shopping was your next task. Once Patrick had dropped you off to the shops he left to meet some fellow authors. Moving around the clothes you picked out a few different outfits, shoes and accessories. Then grabbed a few more bits of make up that you hadn't packed.
This wasn't what you were expecting to be doing so you hadn't prepared for it. That was another giveaway that Chris didn't know his friends would also be at the Jimmy Fallon show.
As you got ready in you hotel room you strolled around the space applying make up and taking small sips of gin and tonic from the mini bar. You would need a little dutch courage for the night to come. Grumbles came from your belly every few minutes and you hoped that you wouldn't have to wait too long for food later.
Standing in front of the mirror you applied a final layer of lipgloss and decided on which of the three outfits you would wear for the evening.
When you had finally decided you took a picture and sent it to Chris.

Me- Is this appropriate for dinner with your friends tonight? I still can't believe I have to go without you :( speak later. Xx

Taking one last sip of the gin you struggled to swallow feeling the bile rise in your throat again. Blinking away the tears that filled your eyes you checked your make up one last time fixed your hair and then left the room.
Exiting the building you waited outside for Seb and Anthony to arrive. Checking emails and bits for work, you replied to some and deleted others.
The honk of a car horn broke your concentration and you noticed Seb and Anthony waving at you from a nearby car.
Climbing into the back you greet the men so excited to see you.
"Hey how was the rest of the show? I saw some of it. Can't wait to watch the series." You ask genuinely interested in their response.
"It went well. Chris obviously came up in conversation. We didn't mention that you were there until we came off air. Actually Jimmy is meeting us out if that's alright with you?" Seb mentioned.
