Clay's POV

After we ate our ice cream, we laid down in the sun for another short period of time. I went to swim with Sapnap shortly and then we went back home since we were all pretty tired.

We would only be going to the supermarket to buy ourselves some food, but we weren't doing anything big anymore.

Before going to the store, I laid down on my bed for a little as I stared at the ceiling, remembering George's body in front of me. I was so flustered when I saw him, but I really didn't want to be. I wanted him to keep being my friend and I would mess it up with a dumb crush on him.

I sighed softly and lifted myself up again as I realised Sapnap and George were downstairs, waiting for me. I stood up, walking there with a smile on my face. It wasn't really a genuine smile, I was so confused about everything that was happening that it was giving me a lot of stress.

'Hi, are you ready?' George asked.

I hated myself for the fact that my cheeks heated up completely as soon as he spoke to me and quickly nodded my head to look away after. Sapnap was grinning a bit and let George go out first as he looked at me.

When I made a flirty comment with George, he stood behind me, putting his thumbs up to show me I was doing good and it helped a lot to have someone around you like that.

'Are you in love?' Sapnap asked.

I sighed deeply and shrugged. 'I don't know, but I do like him to say the least. I really don't want to.'

'Just be a bit flirty and stay the same as you're always are. I'm sure he will like you the most then,' Sapnap said as he smiled after. 'He's waiting, let's go to him before he comes back and hears this.'

I nodded and we went outside to walk to George's and Sapnap's bikes. I sat down behind Sapnap again, because I was scared George would collapse with me on his bike as well and I could look at him better. I sometimes started at him in the corner of my eyes and got startled by my own thoughts.

As soon as I imagined his lips on mine, my face heated up even more than it had done before. I put the thought away as fast as possible and just stared at Sapnap's back for the rest of the ride to the supermarket.

Once we arrived there, I stepped off and walked into the store as far away from George as possible. I was going on a holiday with him, but I was falling in love. His parents weren't allowed to see it, but George definitely wasn't allowed.

Sapnap led the way and asked me what I wanted for dinner. I chose some stuff I hadn't eaten in a while. Sapnap bought it with his money this time and after spending an hour in the store, I was glad to go back home again. I was exhausted so I was going to take a nap before dinner. George would be preparing dinner this time so I had enough time to sleep.

I laid down in bed, closing my eyes to fall asleep right away.

I walked closer to George as we were standing in the middle of a big field with flowers around us. George looked at me and smiled as he cupped my face. I made him sit down and laid down next to him as I pulled him a bit closer to me.

We stared into each other's eyes and the world seemed to stop around me. Only George was important now. I didn't care anymore and pressed my lips on George's to share a passionate kiss.

After we kissed for minutes and minutes long, taking short breaks for some air, I decided to deepen the kiss. My hand went up under his shirt and I asked him for permission. He gave me permission and as I started exploring his mouth, he started touching me more.

I was only concentrating on this at the moment and after a while, I pulled off my shirt so he could touch me better. He did the same thing and my hands rested on his hips as our lips were still intensely touching.

Just as I was about to go a little bit further, I got startled.

I woke up and panted loudly as I looked around me. My face got completely red as I realised what I had been dreaming about and my shame was so high that I could genuinely curse myself.

I was so happy that no one would ever get to know what I had been dreaming about and I stood up slowly. I was even more ashamed as I realised what happened because of my dream and I ran to the bathroom to take a quick shower and forget about anything that had just passed.

After my short shower, I went downstairs again. I realised my face was red as a tomato as soon as I saw George and I hoped there was no way of him figuring out what just happened.

I sat down on the couch so I couldn't see George in the kitchen and Sapnap sat down next to me. 'Are you good?'

I nodded slowly. 'It's nothing, I'm fine.'

'Why did you take a shower?'

'Uh- I uh-,' I muttered, not knowing what to say. 'I had a nightmare and woke up sweaty.'

Sapnap nodded slowly, noticing me lying. 'Are you okay again?'

'Uh- y-yes,' I said with a soft sigh. I was so incredibly ashamed about it and hoped that no one would ever get to know this too.

Sapnap noticed that I didn't want to talk about it and stood up. 'Do you want to help setting the table? Dinner is ready in five minutes.'

I nodded slowly. 'I will help,' I muttered as I walked to some drawers for the cutlery.

I just hoped for it not to happen again this evening when he was next to me.
