George's POV

The next morning I woke up early to pack my bags. I helped Clay pack his bags too, but he didn't have as much stuff as I did. I made sure to take everything he needed with me.

I was really excited for the holiday. My parents, siblings and I went once a year, often to France. Just as the last few years, we were going to France again and I really loved the country more than anything. It was even more exciting now Clay was coming with me.

Even though I knew my parents weren't really homophobic, I still hoped to keep my crush secret for a bit. I did like Clay more each second, I was probably falling in love or maybe I was already in love. My parents would accept me, I was pretty sure about that. Still, I didn't want them to know it yet, they didn't even know that I was gay, so they definitely didn't know that I was falling in love with my best friend.

Sapnap and Clay were playing some Minecraft as I was packing. Clay got my laptop and Sapnap got his own so they could play together. It seemed like they were playing something on a server.

Clay was laughing softly, which made me really happy. I got happy as soon as he was happy and he deserved all the happiness in the world. He was the most selfless person I had ever met, he only cared about his mother and his friends. Sometimes that was a bad thing, he often pushed himself away for others and forgot about his own needs, such as food, drinks or sleep.

As soon as I was going to be alone with my parents, I was going to ask them if I could buy a laptop for Clay. I had discussed it with Sapnap a while back and he gave me some of his money so we could split for a good laptop. I would include Minecraft on it so he could finally play some games on his own laptop while he could also open Discord and call with us.

I never talked with Clay about it, but both Sapnap's and my parents were pretty rich. Not extremely rich, but we had enough money to spend without running out. I was glad to help Clay when he barely had anything and I hoped that someday he would also be happy and have some money to do stuff he liked with.

I looked up as Clay wheezed and Sapnap was grinning too. It made me giggle softly and I closed the finished bag, standing up after to sit next to Clay on the bed so I could watch his screen. He was playing bedwars as he was teamed up with Sapnap and they appeared to be constantly failing.

Clay looked up at me trying to watch his screen and smiled. He seemed a bit more confident today and pulled me closer to let me rest my head on his chest so I could watch the screen better. I knew my face was as red as a tomato as soon as I cuddled up with him and Clay kept playing the game, rubbing through my hair between games.

Sapnap noticed us cuddle, but didn't comment on it. Though, seeing the big smile on his face, he really seemed to have a lot of fun with us cuddling here. This would probably be something we wouldn't easily forget about.

Still, I cared way more about Clay at the moment and curled up like a ball as I wrapped my arms around his waist. Clay just died and looked up at Sapnap who was in a fight with some random guy. Clay smiled, leaned in and pressed a short and soft kiss on my hair.

He quickly continued after that like nothing had ever happened, but the blush on my face definitely said otherwise. I was sweating a bit from the sudden wave of heat I was feeling and then hid my face behind my hands so Clay knew I was very shy after he did that.

Clay giggled. 'Do you want to try to play together?' he said with a smile. 'If you jump, I use the keys.'

'We are so going to lose,' Sapnap laughed as he looked how clumsy we were moving in the game once I started using the spacebar.

'We suck,' I giggled.

Clay smiled and I pulled my hand away. Clay grabbed my other hand and let me grab the mouse as he held his hand on top of my hand so he could still control the mouse. I blushed as I realised he only did this so he could hold my hand like this.

I just relaxed all my muscles and enjoyed Clay holding my hand while playing the game. I had my head resting on his chest still, but Clay pulled me even closer. He pulled me on his lap, putting the laptop down on my lap as he kept holding my hand and his arms around my shoulders to play. He rested his chin on my shoulder and kept playing like nothing changed.

I was constantly blushing and as soon as Sapnap was in a fight and Clay didn't have to do anything, he leaned in a bit and pressed a very soft and short kiss on my cheek, acting like nothing happened after that.

I couldn't stop smiling and I knew I wouldn't stop smiling for the next few hours too. I was laying down in Clay's arms, he kissed my hair and my cheek and he was holding my hand. On top of that, I would also be leaving on a holiday with him in a day, my life couldn't get any better than it was now.

Next to Sapnap constantly laughing at Clay and me cuddling, it felt like I was literally in the clouds. I wished for the moment to never end and I was going to stay like this for as long as I could so the moment would stay.
