Clay's POV

I got woken up by the sun shining in my face through a small gap between the curtains. I smiled as I remembered what day it was. George and Sapnap were coming over in an hour and my mum appeared to have left already.

I stood up from my bed and saw a small paper sticking against my wall. I grabbed it and smiled as I saw it was from my mother.

Hi sweetie,

I hope you slept well and have fun with George and Sapnap. I love you and I hope that I'm going to be back home soon. You can call me if you want and I will try to make time for you. I love you more than anyone, forever

Mom <3

I smiled as I put the paper on my desk. I loved my mum a lot, even when she was working all the time. I just didn't have the courage to tell her that I liked boys a lot. No one knew I did actually. Sapnap might have expected me to like boys, but I never told him.

When I was a bit younger, around eleven, most people started talking a bit about girls and having crushes. I barely felt the same way as they did, I could understand why people liked girls, but I definitely didn't the way they liked them.

I grabbed my phone and looked up multiple sexualities since I wanted to be a bit more sure about what was going on. I didn't relate with gay, but also not with pansexual or bisexual. I looked further as omnisexual came up. I started reading the description and nodded to myself.

I was able to like all genders, but I had a big preference for boys. There was a chance of me falling in love with a girl, someone who was non-binary, someone who was bigender and so on, but I just preferred boys by a lot.

I felt understood when I read about omnisexuality and smiled. I didn't mind labels that much, but it still felt good to feel understood.

I had never actually fallen in love with a boy, but I really liked some of them. I didn't know if I was sexually attracted to any other gender, but I was to boys. Still, that didn't make me gay, because I was romantically attracted to them. I would be able to have a relationship with girls, but I absolutely didn't feel like going any further than that.

I sighed as I walked to the bathroom to take a quick and short shower to save up money. I showered for two minutes and stepped out, dressing up to walk downstairs after. I didn't have a lot of clothes, so I ended up wearing the same thing as yesterday. We didn't have a washing machine either, so my mum always washed it by hand.

I looked in the bags George brought me and made myself breakfast, sitting down after as I just looked a bit in front of me. I was lucky that I had these great of friends, because I was sure I would have fallen into depression otherwise.

I waited for another twenty minutes while eating my breakfast as suddenly the doorbell rang. I jumped up and ran to the door to see George standing in front of me. He had a big smile on his face and was holding a bag.

'Hi, good morning!' George said as he opened his arms for a hug. I gave him a hug and smiled shyly after that.

'Good morning,' I said with a shy smile. 'I'm happy that you're here.'

'Of course, I'm here for you,' George answered as he hugged me once again. 'Have you had breakfast?'

'I have, but I just feel guilty that I don't have anything in the house for you. I only have the things you brought me.'

George smiled and opened his bag, grabbing his wallet. 'My parents gave me some money. I'm going to take you to some stores and you're going to buy yourself all the stuff you want.'

'I can't accept that, it's fine. I'm okay, I will just eat a bit less the next few weeks.'

'No, absolutely not. I will pay and I'm sure Sap will help.'

'Help with what?' I suddenly heard Sapnap say as he ran to my door to give me a hug.

'Oh hi, Sap. Help pay for stuff Clay needs.'

'Oh, yeah. Of course, dude. I have extra money.'

I smiled and shrugged. 'You don't have to, but thank you a lot.'

'We are going to, I'm not going to let you starve and we are here. We have money and we can pay,' Sapnap said as he walked into my house.

George came after him and looked at my clothes. 'Are these the same as yesterday?'

I nodded awkwardly. 'I'm sorry, I have no washed clothes at the moment.'

'Stop saying sorry for things you can't control. Just give me some of your clothes and I'll bring them to my mum so she can wash them.'

'But-.'

'Don't you dare argue against it, just give me your clothes.'

I smiled shyly and walked upstairs to come back with my two shirts and one other pair of pants. 'This is all I have,' I muttered. 'And some socks and underwear and stuff.'

'Just let me wash it all.'

'Is it going to be done before tomorrow?'

'Yes, it will,' George answered as I gave him all of my stuff. 'I'll be right back.'

Sapnap looked at me as George walked away and smiled. 'Have you had a normal shower?'

'I showered for two minutes today.'

'Have you washed yourself and your hair?'

I shrugged. 'I don't have time for that, the bills can't get too high.'

'Take a shower, I'll give your mum money to pay the bills.'

'Really?'

'Do you have soap and shampoo?'

I nodded. 'I never use it if I'm honest. I always have to be very fast.'

'Go use it now, I'll be waiting here.'

'And my clothes?'

'I'll get some from my brother, he's around the same height as you,' Sapnap said with a smile.

'Thank you so much,' I muttered as I walked upstairs to finally shower normally again.
