Clay's POV

I woke up in George's arms the next morning and couldn't stop smiling as I stood up to take a quick shower before everyone else would use the bathroom.

When I was finished, I dried off and pulled on some of my new clothes with pride. I really liked them a lot and couldn't stop thanking Sapnap and George for what they did for me.

Today we would go to the city here in France. We would explore it a little bit and I would mostly look around since I didn't want to rob all of their money.

After I walked back to George's and my room, I crawled back in bed next to him to hug him shortly until he would be waking up. He started squeezing his eyes ten minutes later and moved around, facing me now. Then he opened his eyes and looked me in the eyes with a small smile on his face.

'Hi, Clay. How did you sleep?'

'I slept amazing, I just really liked to cuddle with you,' I said with a shy smile.

George smiled as well and I hugged him shortly before he stood up to go to the bathroom. 'My parents and siblings take ages in the bathroom so I'm quickly going before them. I see you showered too.'

I nodded and George walked off. I grabbed my charged phone and looked at it, getting a bit sad that I didn't have anything to play. I then remembered George told me I could always grab his phone to play some games so I grabbed his charging phone and loaded up a game as I waited for him to come back.

He came back around fifteen minutes later and didn't comment on me having his phone. He just climbed back in bed and watched me play a random game.

We sat like this for half an hour, just as long as it took George's parents to stand up as well. It was ten am already and George and I went downstairs as soon as George's dad went downstairs too.

I looked at us and smiled. 'Do you want to come with me to the bakery to get some bread for breakfast?'

'Yes, sure,' I said happily.

'Of course, sounds good,' George said as well.

George's dad grabbed his wallet and keys for the car and pointed outside. 'It's warm outside so you can probably leave without a coat on.'

I nodded and George did the same as we went outside to go with him to the car. George and I sat down in the back of the car as George's dad put on some music on the radio. He started humming with the songs and I looked at George with a smile.

'You look handsome today,' I whispered shyly.

George blushed a little. 'Thank you, so do you.'

We both just smiled at each other like two idiots as I felt George's dad look at us in the mirror of his car.

'Is there some romance going on here?' he grinned. 'I would love to tease you.'

'N-no,' George muttered. 'There isn't and I wouldn't tell you if there was.'

His dad grinned and concentrated on the road again. We went into the bakery and picked out the things we wanted. We went back to the car to go back to the holiday home and once we were there everyone seemed to be downstairs already. George's twin siblings were running around, his mother was putting down all the plates and George and I just sat down next to each other in silence as we waited for the food.

When everyone sat down, we quickly had breakfast to leave to the city early. We would just wander around for the day and buy some nice stuff as we explored the city.

I was walking behind everyone as we stepped out of the car. George's parents were walking next to each other and his siblings were as well as they were annoying George.

'Leave me alone, I'm going to Clay now,' George said with a clear tone of annoyance in his voice. He rolled his eyes as he walked next to me. 'Kids, am I right?'

He looked at his parents and then leaned in. 'I'm so glad that I'm gay.'

I giggled. 'Yeah, same.'

'Would you ever adopt kids?' George whispered so no one could hear us.

'For now, no. Maybe later.'

'Same,' George said with a smile. We stopped the conversation as soon as we entered a store.

When it was just a bit before lunch, I quickly went to the toilet in an electronic store nearby. When I came back, I suddenly saw George's parents stand at the cashier and George grabbed my hand to pull me outside.

'What's up?' I muttered confusedly.

'Nothing, it was just hot inside, I wanted to go here.'

'What are they buying?'

'I'm not sure,' George said, but I could hear that he was not speaking the truth.

'You're lying.'

'Fine, but it's just stupid to tell you.'

'Why?'

'They bought a phone for my siblings.'

I nodded slowly, though I still didn't fully believe his story. George smiled at me. 'Did I make you sad?'

'No, you didn't,' I said. 'They can buy phones, I have a phone too. It might not be the best phone, but at least I have one.'

George shrugged and smiled as he made me sit down at a table near the area where we would have lunch. We just sat in a comfortable silence and George looked at me shortly, just to grab my hand after that since no one else was here yet.

'Are you enjoying this so far?'

I nodded heavily. 'I haven't been on a holiday in literally years, or actually, I have never been on a holiday for longer than two days in England.'

'I'm really glad that you're here with us now and I love being with you,' George said with a smile.

I blushed shyly and looked down at my hands. 'I love being with you too, I can't thank you enough for everything you've done for me.'

'This is just the start,' George said with a smile. 'Just the start.'
