Happy B-day to Asher! Aka, Badbunny23.
Track was a hell of a lot better than yesterday. It was only our second day and I think all or most of my friends realized that we really were fat Americans. We are Americans so we have a right to be fat and lazy. Yesterday, being the first day, I thought we were just going to discuss meets in when the team was in the gym. I told Taylor that she didn't need to get changed since we did nothing last season on day one and it was her mistake to listen to me. Instead we went outside, ran two laps around the track and did the rest of our normal warm-ups, which included running across the field. Then we started getting equipment out like hurdles and the high jump mats. We had all the equipment out and what happened next, you ask?
Oh! That's very funny. We didn't start practicing, we did MORE warm ups! The warm ups we did were seriously the reason I considered quitting track last season. We had to go 60-70% of our speed for 100 yards, walk 100, jog 50% of your speed 100 and then full on sprint the last 100. We had to do different variations of that four times. It sucked.
We had to go to Sears today to buy me new track shoes. I HATE shoe shopping. I had one specific request and that was to be able to get the new Nikes. And, of course they didn't have any. All of the shoes were like bright pink, white or purple. I wound up getting a pair of blue and gray Skechers. They're cool, they have a memory foam bottom on the inside and a really weird texture on the bottom.
MATH PARCC TESTING STARTS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'M REALLY PISSED ABOUT THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT'S GOING TO SUCK SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YOLO
