I completely forgot that I was supposed to do a song yesterday. Screw my sense of time and dates. Anyway, I thought that I would do one today. I picked the song "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran. I know that it's kind of cheesy since it's from the end credits of The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, but I really love that movie and this song is special to me.

Oh, misty eye of the mountain below
Keep careful watch of my brothers souls
And should therefore sky be filled with fire and smoke
Keep watching over Durins son

If this is to end in fire
Then we shall all burn together
Watch the flames climb higher into the night

Calling out father oh
Stand by and we will
Watch the flames burn over on
The mountain side

And if we should die tonight
Then we shall all die together
Raise a glass of wine for the last time

Calling out father oh
Prepare as we will
Watch the flames burn aburn on
The mountain side
Desolation comes upon the sky

Now I see fire
Inside the mountain
I see fire
Burning the trees
And I see fire
Hollowing souls
I see fire
Blood on the breeze
And I hope that you'll remember me

Oh should my people burn
Then surely I'll do the same
Confined in mountain halls
We got to close to the flame

Calling out father oh
Hold fast and we will
Watch the flames burn aburn on
The mountain side
Desolation comes upon the sky

Now I see fire
Inside the mountain
I see fire
Burning the trees
And I see fire
Hollowing souls
I see fire
Blood on the breeze
And I hope that you'll remember me

And if the night is burning
I will cover my eyes
For if the dark returns
Then my brothers will die
And if the sky is falling down
It crashed into this lonely town
With that shadow upon the ground
I hear my people screaming out

Now I see fire
Inside the mountain
I see fire
Burning the trees
And I see fire
Hollowing souls
I see fire
Blood on the breeze

I see fire, oh you know I saw a city burning out
And I see fire, feel the heat upon my skin
And I see fire, oh-oh-oh-oh
And I see fire burn aburn on the mountain side
