04. Looking through new lenses

Hello my wonderful stalkers!! It's been awhile since I've updated and I'm really sorry about that. You guys were able to complete the challenge, even though it was really easy, so yay! Anyways, I bet you're not really enjoying reading this pointless note and want to get on with the story so I'll leave you to it ;P

Denice's POV

Slowly I started to regain consious. Ever so slowly I opened my eyes because I didn't want to be blinded by light. Once my eyes were fully open, I wished I never had. When I had opened them everything had a thin little color line, bubble thing around it. Turning my head to the left I saw Haley asleep on the couch next to my bed. Had she really dragged me all the way here by herself?

Carefully I got up not wanting to get dizzy so quickly. Walking over to my window, I looked out and noticed that the sun was just starting to rise. Looking at the clock on my desk I became aware that it was 6am. Haley and I had school today. I really wanted to talk to her about what happened yesterday before we went to school. Going back over to where Haley lay alseep I began to shake her.

"Haley...Hayles....Aley!" She wouldn't wake up. "HALEY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WAKE UP!" I pushed her and she fell of the couch and onto the floor.

"OW!" She exclaimed. "Was that really necessary?!" She yelled still half asleep. Dang this girl was a heavy sleeper.

"Sorry... I really wanted to talk to you about what happened last night..." I said slowly now even doubting if it was even true. Glancing at my desk I saw that the book lay there open still. I let out a loud groan.

"Well after we read the Book, you said you understood it and your eyes went all glassy like before you just passed out...." she said now fully awake.

"Thanks for hauling me to bed it must of sucked to get me up there..." I laughed.

"Actually ...I have to tell you something Denice." I didn't like where this was going by the sound of her voice. "Once you passed out, I just stared at you like an idiot and you began to move off the ground. I had closed my eyes and you landed back on the floor." That explained why my back hurt a bit. "Then I tried to see if it was me who was doing that by trying it on smaller things. So turns out I can move things by just focusing on them.." she shrugged her shoulders like it was no big deal.

'Maybe that has something to do with why I see everything with color around it.' I thought in my mind. Not everything had that color bubble around them so I wondered if it was just from passing out last night. Maybe it'll go away later...

"I'm hungry, do you want to go get some food?" Asked Haley breaking the silence that had filled the room.

"Sure. We have to get ready for school soon." She groaned and I laughed a bit. Both of us went down to the kitchen and made ourselves something simple to eat.

"What are we going to do about all "this" now?" She asked while we sat down and ate.

"I'm not sure... the Book said we would know when and who the people would be. I guess we'll just have to go around and look for them." I said taking a bite of my strawberry.

"Do you think it'll be easy? I mean will he get the chance to stay in one place or will we have to move from one place to another often?" Haley asked.

"Right now I'm not sure. Honestly I'm just as confused as you are right now Haley... I wish I could tell you what we needed to do exactly." Just then I felt a sharp pain shoot through my head. Clutching onto my head I waited until it stopped. My eyes shut and I started to see a picture...

"Denice?!" Yelled Haley. The picture was there almost as if it was burned onto my eyelids....and then just like that it was gone!

"Ugh..." I groaned. My head literally felt like mush.

"Oh my bosh are you ok!? What happened?!" She shot question after question at me not giving me Tim's to answer.

"I saw...I saw a picture. It was more of like an image..."

"What was it?!" Will she ever stop yelling?

"I-it was us... we were inside of the car coming out of the drive way...w-we had our things in the back and a moving truck was just pulling in followed by another car..." I remembered the scene clearly. "People came out of the other car and waved at us...then we just kept on driving but I'm not sure to where exactly."

"Denice." Haley said looking at me wide eyed. "I think that was the future you just saw...What if that's what we're supposed to do?! We'll have to sell the house and just pack up and go!"

"Does that mean we're going to get another new house?" I asked not completely sure that's what that image meant.

"Um...I dont think so because there was no moving truck following us, so maybe that means we'll be on the road much." How was it that she could make all the pieces come together so easily?

"In the image the trees had little flower buds on them... Does that mean we have to leave at the beginning of spring?" I asked now understanding a bit more of what I saw.

"Wow! The Book was right when it said we'd know what to so and that it'll just come easy to us..." at her mentioning that I was quite surprised to see it was true. We both sort of just sat there at the dinning room kitchen thinking about all that's happened.

"Fall just started not to long ago, we have about 3 months and a half to do what the image showed ..." I still didn't know exactly how we were going to do this.

"Let's not worry about this any more for today. Let's just go to school and be like normal 15 year old girls, even if its just for awhile longer." Nodding, we quickly finished breakfast and cleaning up before heading to our rooms to get ready.

Hello again my stalkers ;P It's been so LONG but I finally managed to finish this chapter! I was going to add Haley's POV in there to make it longer but I'll keep it for the next chapter.... Hope you liked this :D
