Nadine's POV: 

It was a Friday afternoon and it was almost a week since Matthew and Nate had a Sunday Father and son experience together. But ofcourse ako lang ang nakakaalam na Father and son bonding  ang nangyari. At tuwing nakikita ko si Matthew lalo lang akong nagiguilty. Bakit kasi pinagtagpo pa ang landas namin samantalang sa nakalipas na taon nakuha ng pagkakataon na hindi kami magkita.

Tulad ngayon, Bakit kaylangan kong maghintay dito sa labas ng opisina ni Matthew in a Friday afternoon? Bakit ako lang at hindi ang buong team ko? Sabagay nasa site naman kasi sila. 

"Rebecca, matagal pa ba si sir Lee?"

Matthew's POV

"Sir Lee, nandito na po si Miss Cruz like you requested. Papasukin ko na po ba siya sa office niyo?" Tumawag si Rebecca sa office ko. 

"Hindi pa muna, I'll ring you up kapag papasukin mo na siya, i'll just finish my meeting with Nicole. Thank you Rebecca."  And then I hang up and looked at Nicole who's really serious at the other side of the table. Kasi kanina ko pa sa kanya iniexplain ang sitwasyon naming dalawa and the reality na hindi ko naman talaga siya nagustuhan and probably never will.

"Hindi kita maintindihan Matthew. Ano yung mga paglabas labas nating dalawa? The kisses? Wala lang ba sayo yun?" Sumisigaw si Nicole sa akin and started to walk around my office.

"I know I'm an asshole, that is why I'm saying sorry, Nicole. Hindi ko kayang suklian ang binibigay mo sa aking affection. I'm really sorry." sinabi ko sa kanya.

"NO!! I'm not accepting any of these." Pagdadabog niya, buti nalang at sound proof ang opisina ko.

"Nicole, i'm really sorry, but we can always be frie--" Naputol ako sa sasabihin ko dahil I think i broke her.

"Shut up!!! Don't you dare, tell me we can be friends!!! Nicole Castro was never rejected by anyone! You can't do this to me!" She was shaking her head that's why I stood up and I wanted to comfort her. Then she straightened up and looked at me. "I'm pregnant and you are the father." when she spoke

"Nicole, but that's impossible." I know that is impossible, all we ever did was kiss and wala pa akong narinig na someone got pregnant because of a kiss.

"I know, I'm just fucking with you. Matthew wala ba talaga?" then she carress my cheeks then I hold her hand.

"Sorry Nicole wala talaga." when i told her that she exhaled deeply.

"Wow. Ganito pala ang pakiramdam na mareject, first time ah." then she smiled at me. "But anyway, marami pa naman diyang iba," she looked at me with really sad eyes. "Pero iisa ka lang Matthew." Then she hugged me. Hindi na ako nagsalita o itinulak siya dahil kaylangan niya ng yakap sa mga oras na yun. Then she pulled away with pink puffy eyes. "Grabe ka ah. kakaiba ka rin ah. Dito pa sa office mo ako nireject, dapat inaya mo man lang ako for a dinner." she pulled out a handkerchief. "Anyway that was fun. call me again if you wanted a companion." she grabbed her bag and darted towards the door and never looked back.

Nagpalipas muna ako ng 1-2 minutes bago ko sinabi kay Rebecca na pwede na niyang papasukin si Nadine. I need to breath dahil mawawala na naman ako sa pagiging compose ko tuwing nakikita ko siya. 

Nung nakita ko siyang papasok, nawala ang worries ko kanina. Para siyang fresh air na pumalit sa lungs ko. Then I smiled.

"Hello, how is the little guy?" bati ko sa kanya.

"Uhm. okay naman po sir," sagot sa akin ni Nadine.

"Good. Ito nga pala para sa kanya." I took something out of my drawer. "please, take it. panigurado ako matutuwa siya diyan." I handed her a paper bag.
