Mia's P.O.V.
It's been 5 hours since Jessica caught us...AGAIN. Enrollment went by fast. We got our new I.D.'s and they turned out great. Carson took me to a deli place for lunch. We both had subways and then went for a walk in the park. I told him that I couldn't stay long because I still have to decorate. We sat at the bench, the bench that we first 'talked', in the park that we saw each other for the second time. The place we thanked for. So I sat down, he told me that he'll buy some ice cream and then like on cue, the ice cream man was there. He bought us both two scoops of strawberry ice cream on a waffle cone. If only he knew that strawberry turned me on...
I got home an hour after that and I changed into something more comfortable. Time to decorate the mansion! I got everyone working, even Jessica! I told everyone what to do and they hurried off to do their work.
I was checking on my clipboard to check what goes where and who does what, when a thought came to my mind. This morning. During breakfast. That kiss. This day. Everything that had happened. And I remembered that kiss we had this morning. How I crave it so much. Then I felt someone grab me and spun me around. I was startled at first but then I began to laugh.
Perfect. Everything!
"What are you doing here?" I asked still feeling giggly.
"I'm here to help of course!" he said as he kissed my forehead. His lips touching my skin made me my whole body shiver with delight. "...and besides, what else would I do here?" our eyes met and never left.
"Make out with her." Jessica said as she strutted her way to carry some fabrics.
"Jessica!" we said in unison but our eyes were locked to each other.
"What?!" she said back.
"Get a life!" I said and Carson let out a chuckle that made me giggle.
"Well, FYI, I do have a life and it's awesome!" I know that she did her happy dance but...sucks for her I wasn't looking. I'm too busy with my boyfriend at the moment.
At the end of the day, everything was ready. The very first party that I organized by myself.
--2 days later--
I looked at my reflection at the mirror and smiled. I zipped my dress and I took a step backwards and looked at myself. The dress Ma-an made for me was a dream! It was a black, fully-gemmed ball gown. I had my wavy hair straightened for tonight's event and kept it on one side. I only did light makeup that consists of: gray eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush and my favorite pastel pink lipstick to keep it natural looking.
"Well someone looks all dolled up!" Jessica came in my closet room, wearing a silvery white mermaid dress. Her hair was in a messy updo and her makeup was beautifully done.
I laughed weakly. "Are you sure I look pretty enough?"
"Girl, it's not your wedding day so don't get all psycho." she said coming to my direction. "Of course you're pretty. It's all in the genes."
I laughed. "What can I do without you, Jessica?"
She teased me by tapping her chin and began to 'think'. "Maybe you'd be in the mental hospital for giving yourself a nervous breakdown." she smirked.
"And what does a nervous breakdown have to do with me?"
"I don't know...there's the word 'nervous' that's all."
I face-palmed my forehead. "At least I got the brainy genes." I muttered.
"What'd you say?" she asked me and I just chuckled.
