 Mia's P.O.V.

"Well, your wish came true, love." I said, handing him the paper.

He glanced it over and handed it back to me, while I pulled it off his hands with so much force, it almost tore apart. "At least we're not in the first page."

Reading the paper again, my blood began to boil, and at the same time, I was trembling. How dare they?! They have pictures of us! All of them, from the past weeks!

The beach.

The walks in the park.

Hiking in the woods.

Rock climbing.

The waterfall experience.

...even our road trips to different places!

What's next? Pictures of us going to public restrooms?!

Good thing there was nothing very vulgar, I mean, the most exposed picture of us, was when we were walking on the beach.

Wait for it...

His arm was around my waist and I did the same to him.

You may be asking, 'Hey, Mia, what's the very vulgar part?' Well here's my answer...Our lips were touching. Happy press, right? Oh this is great! Just great!...not!

At least they didn't have a picture of us doing the sand castle...

...now that would make us on the front page.

'CORDOVA INC.'S PRECIOUS PRINCESS ON HER GREATEST SUMMER GETAWAY'

'...Reports say that one of the country's richest daughters and heiress, Mia Cordova, is having the best summer in her life. Especially with her first boyfriend, Carson Pierce, heir of Pierce-Davis Enterprises, by her side all the time. She has been silent in the past few summers, and maybe she already burst her bubble. From the beach, to travelling, to the outdoors, and malls, she's always spending each day of summer with him. But what about the theater houses? Well, she'll just deal with rejection whenever she enters one. Best to leave them alone and let her enjoy her first, real summer vacation...'

How dare they?!

I suddenly felt arms around my stomach, Carson was embracing me. "Calm down." he whispered.

"Calm down? Who would calm down?! How dare they say these things about me? About my life? About my past? My parents are gonna kill me!" I was freaking out...like a crazy person.

"Mia! Come down here this instant!" I heard my dad say. Oh no.

I looked at Carson and we went downstairs to see my dad. Carson was rubbing my back on the way, and I felt a bit relaxed. I saw my dad sitting in the living room with my mom...reading the paper. No!

This is it. I'm dead. Carson is gonna be toast. AND I'M GONNA BE DEAD!. No, this is not happening! Oh dear, God. Please help me now!

"Dad?" I asked nervously as I sat opposite him. My subconscience is praying The Lord's Prayer right now.

"Can you please explain this?" he threw the paper on the table, pictures of us facing me. I felt drained.

My subconscience is at her first Hail Mary.
