Carson's P.O.V.
"What about this one?" Mia walked out of the fitting room wearing a floorlength, emerald ballgown. She was in the middle of a 180° mirror showroom and I was sitting on a couch in the same room.
"You look great." I just smirked.
"Yeah, you're totally helping me out." she had her hands on her waist.
"I swear you look beautiful in everything you wear." I shifted from my seat.
Mia was still looking at herself through her reflection and she doesn't look happy with the dress. She turns a bit to her left and pouted her lips.
"You can always try another one if you don't like it." I insisted.
She sighed and nodded. "Okay..." she walked back to the fitting room.
What's happening you may ask? My family and I are throwing a party. Sorta like going away, but Mia doesn't know about it. I still don't know when to tell her.
The phone call was terrifying. How would my paperworks mess up?! It's impossible! And now I have to deal with Court for months! I can't be away for that long!
I have this feeling in my gut that Claire has something to do with this. I really do. I am positively sure.
"I think this is it." Mia came out from the living room wearing a beautiful ballgown. It was black and gold. She looked stunning! (A/N: since I suck at describing dresses--->)
I only realized that my jaw was on the floor when my whole mouth felt cold and dry. Can anyone be more beautiful than this?
She stepped in front of the mirrors again. "Carson...what do you think?" she looked at me through the reflection.
"...I agree with you." I smiled.
She grinned her beautiful smile. "Okay then! I'll take it." she said to the designer and they left.
As I have said before, Mia doesn't know we're going away. She just knows that my mother held a formal ball themed party. She really doesn't have a clue, and we're leaving the morning after the party.
I don't know if I made the right decision to tell her on the party...well almost after the party. I may sound like a girl right now, but it's true.
She is gonna hate me for it. I can feel it. She'll be angry that I didn't tell her.
I don't even know why I wanna keep it from her! I don't have a specific reason.
Yeah, Carson, why are you keeping this from her? She's going to be angry and she'll cry. You hate to see her cry.
I better have a good explanation when I'll say it to her. I'm serious when I said that Mia doesn't know anything. In fact, she's the only person who doesn't know. Her parents know, even Jessica knows.
"Let's go, love." Mia said that brought me back. I stood up and carried her dress hanger for her.

Mia's P.O.V.
Something is not right.
Carson and I were off to his penthouse. We decided to eat take-outs from everywhere. Chinese food, burgers, pizza, and tubs of ice cream--woah! Are we even gonna finish all these?!
But that's not what I'm concerned about.
Carson wasn't the same ever since he got that phone call. When he turned his phone off, I asked him who called and what's it about, but he just ignored what I said and said that we need to go. Of course, I protested because we just got here and he said there's a rain coming...although it was a perfect sunny day.
