Mia's P.O.V.
He offered me a seat. Darn. He is a gentleman. Or was he just being nice?
"Thanks!" I said grinning like an idiot. I can feel my cheeks burn. I hope he won't see them. I sat down beside him then I started to say "So...you said 'drowning away the pain'..." What was I thinking?
"Long story." he lied and tried to chuckle. You know he's lying because of the tone of his voice.
"Wanna talk about it? It may help." I said still grinning. Wait. What did I just say? He'll maybe think I'm a nosy person. I hope he won't think that. Then I saw him smirk. He looked so sexy that--
MIA! STOP IT!
I wasn't prepared when he said, "I broke up with my girlfriend..." then I lost my the smile on my face. I don't even know why. "...did I say something to offend you?" he asked me with a calming voice. I shook my head fast and put on a fake smile in which I don't know why. "No..." I said nervously.
His brows came together, "Then why-"
I cut him off as fast as I can "...just shocked seeing you break up with your girlfriend." why did he? Then suddenly a huge gush of wind was blowing at our direction.
"We should leave before we fly away." I suggested.
He laughed. Aw. I love his laugh. "...my place?"
I narrowed my eyes looking at him awkwardly. "Nothing will happen. Swear!" he said while putting his hands up.
"Okay." I said. "How long will it take?"
"It's just a walking distance. And you?" he asked me like he wants to know where I live but not directly. I laughed. "10 minutes walking distance."
"5 minutes walking distance."
"Okay, okay. Can we leave before we really fly away?"
"Sure. Just hop in my car."
Who the heck would bring a car to a place where you are only 5 minutes away? My house takes 10 and I didn't even bring mine. I have a student's license that's why I can drive.
When we reached his car that was when I realized I was soaking wet.

Carson's P.O.V.
I hopped in my car and she was just standing there. She must've think she'll ruin the seats because we were soaking. My seat covers were new but I didn't mind then I had an idea.
"Why don't I take you to your place so that you could change then we'll go to mine." BRILLIANT!
"I really don't wanna bother you..." she said playing with her skirt. She's so cute.
"I insist."
"...okay."
Finally she went in and showed me where she lived. It didn't even look like a house. I thought it was a mansion. It IS a mansion.
She let me in her house and I was amazed. It was modern. A glass staircase, a chic living room, did I see a chandelier? Then I saw some of her pictures on a long table and some were hanging on the wall. She is so beautiful.
"Be back in a few minutes!" she shouted over her shoulder as she ran the staircases.
My attention was on the picture frames. She was fashionable. I tried not to laugh when I saw a picture of her when she was about 5 in a ballerina outfit and when she was 15 in another ballerina outfit, I looked over the other photos most were hers then something caught my eye. A family picture. But not just a family picture. It was like it was from a magazine. No doubt it was a magazine cover. I mean, she had her magazine covers but it was their picture with the company name.
