Monique's P.O.V.

That night turned out better than I have expected. The party was a success, not only because of day one of our production. The only thing I didn't get was why were the drinks keep pouring, if we had to do a million interviews the next day. I was overreacting. Not a million, more like five. We have five interviews tomorrow. We have three TV show guestings in the morning, one in the early afternoon, and one at three, which is the main Press Conference. And we had to do the show at 9:30.

The day after that, we have three shows starting in the afternoon. We have 2:30, 7:00, and 10:00. I'm already feeling the exhaustion...for the next three months.

In three months, I'm flying back to New York for another audition. The next audition was for Marie-Dawn for her company and my call slip is due when I finish my season here. It breaks my heart to leave the company I'm in now, but I don't have any choice left.

After the audition, I have to attend for the Tony Awards. In God's giving hands, the Academy must've seen my performance and now I was nominated for Best Female Performance in a Musical for Love Never Dies. I don't expect to win. I have with me beautiful and talented women in the field and they are all outstanding.

"Good morning, Monique." Alice brings me my breakfast and laid it down in front of me. I was sitting on my sofa beside the glass wall of my penthouse, checking my itinerary for the day. Alice is the best PA. You say to bring your breakfast at five in the morning and she gets it done.

Alice. I don't know if you still remember her. She was a scholar of my parents and she became an intern in my office here at home. And look at her now. She's permanently staying at Cordova Inc., her pay is higher, she has a better life...

"Thank you, Alice." I smiled. She prepared Eggs Benedict, a small pot of tea, and she juiced me a glass of carrots and spinach. Yum!

She sat down opposite of me, and just waiting there. This is how Alice likes it even though most of the time  I tell her that she could go and do other stuff, but she doesn't. She told me things like what if I needed something, if I was to have a fit, or whatever. She sounds like a bodyguard now. Creepy. She's very loyal, I can say.

Right now she is checking her IPad for her itineraries while I started eating my breakfast. "What would you like for your packed lunch?"

"Salad, some grapes, and juiced cucumbers and melon, please." I requested.

"Noted, Monique." she tapped away in her IPad. What is she doing? "Will you need a stylist today for the Press Con?"

"Yes, I do."

"What time do you wish for her to come?"

"Have her come here before I do. I have a thirty-minute interview after lunch."

"Noted."

*Ding-dong*

Someone's here? At this hour? Alice looked at me but I told her I was getting it. I went to the door and pressed the button of the answering machine. "Who is it?"
