Mia's P.O.V.
"Happy Birthday, baby." Carson whispered.
"Shush, Carson." I stood up from my seat to go to the counter of the teacher's lounge to get my daily cup of coffee at school.
"Aw, afraid of getting older, Miss Cordova?" I heard his chair being pushed away as I was adding some creamer in my coffee.
"Nope." I said, popping the P. "Besides, I'm still oh, so young...not like you." I smirked.
I then felt Carson's arms wrapping around my stomach and nuzzling his face in my hair before planting a kiss on my head. "We're only a few months apart. Why call me old?"
A faint chuckle left my stupid grin. "I'm sorry, OLD MAN. I used the wrong term, and I feel so sorry for you for being such a Senior Citizen." I kept my laughter hidden in my diaphragm, praying not to laugh hard.
His lips travelled from my head to my earlobe and he nibbled it, making me moan. Oh, gosh. I'm flushing crimson here! And I feel something...down there. Please not now! Not right here, right now!
"I thought, I was hired here to teach students, not you. Should I teach you a lesson, Miss Cordova?" his hot, minty breath filled my ear. Please, stop! This is torture enough.
"...please." I squeaked. WAIT THERE! DID I JUST SAY THAT? my face was as red as the reddest red there is in this world. Where did that come from?!
I felt Carson tense up. He was also shocked with my reply.
"Uh--"
"Hey, love birds, get a room!" Mrs. Connor, an Algebra Teacher caught us.
"It's not what you think!" Carson and I blurted out at the same time. Talk about humiliating much.
----
Recovering from that, humiliating...incident, Carson and I were on our way to our classes.
"Come to my Music Class later last period." he said out of the blue.
"Why?"
"I want you to observe my class. Nothing much. Just take a peak." he smirked.
"Why would I wanna do that?" I copied his smirk.
"Because I know you want to."
"'Kay fine." I rolled my eyes as I reached my classroom.
"I'll see you then, Miss Cordova." with that, he left me.
Entering the classroom, it was almost full. "Morning, class." I greeted them.
"Morning, Miss Cordova." they chimed.
---
Okay, honestly, I don't know why Carson wanted me to observe his class. Well, I was curious on what's happening with his classes of course.
I dismissed my Drama Class early today because I told them since it was my birthday, I'd give them the day to themselves, but they have to do some research on some theater terms for tomorrow's activity.
Nothing much happened. I got greetings from the other teachers and from the students, and I feel grateful already.
Andy gave me a collage. As big as an average size corkboard, wow. That's effort. Not to mention that she and Kyla are now the best of friends ever. What a change! But of course, Julie will be Julie no matter what. I gave her detention for two weeks. She glued Andy's and Kyla's books on the armchairs, and the armchairs nearly broke because of superglue. The school is still deciding whether to suspend her already. I wonder what her problem is.
