chapter 3

The next day I saw hikaru and kauro in class.

"Hey guys!" I called when they entered the room.

"Woo hoo! We have the same classes!" Kauro said. They both rested their arms over the back of my neck when they approached. "Your here too haruhi!"

"Yes, I guess I am." Haruhi said.

"Now I'm really loving classes. Funny guys like us in a room equals a good time!" I said wrapping my arms over their shoulders. This'll be so much fun!! Now I'm glad I died!!

The day went by quickly, then lunch came and it was a blast! Hikaru and kauro and I have become the best of buddies over 2 days.

"So, haruhi. How did you meet this odd ball?" Hikaru asked.

"Well, uh.......we met in like the 4th grade before my mom died. I was really sad one day and he helped me through my problem. We became friends, then best friends. And here we are now." Haruhi explained briefly.

"In other words I was there for him when he needed me." I said to conclude the conversation. It was easy using "he" instead of "she" in front of everyone.

"Wow, now I'm really wishing I met you sooner." Hikaru asked from my left.

"Same here. I hadn't thought school could ever be this fun!" I said smiling.

"And damn that smile of yours gets to me." Hikaru said.

"Me too. Haruhi how did you deal with such a wonderous grin?" Kauro asked.

"Years of knowing him. He always had that way with people." Haruhi said.

"Well no matter how many times I see that smile, your face will still get my mind whirling..." Hikaru said pulling kauro close to him. Their faces came close again, a couple of fangirls pointed and squeaked.

"Hikaru....." Kauro said.

Later in the day just after every girl left the host club, haruhi was carrying a heavy tray of tea, she then tripped and got some of the liquid all over her uniform.

"Damn. And this is my only one...." She said irritated.

"Well the only spare we have is a girls uniform. You'll need to deal with that." Kyouya said handing her a yellow dress.

Haruhi sighed. "Whatever. I'll be right back." Haruhi then left the room and went into a room, shutting the door slightly.

"I wonder what he'll look like in a dress?" Hikaru asked.

"Haruhi can pull off anything." I said to them. She'd been in there a while.

"I think I'll go check on him." Tamaki said. "He's been in there an oddly long time."

"Wait, tamaki...." I said, but I was too late, clumsy him tripped before he could stop and fell into the door, opening it in the process. Showing haruhi with a camisole.

"Your a girl??" Tamaki, hikaru and kauro said in unison after haruhi got dressed.

"Well technically, yeah." Haruhi said.

"I'm a chick too." I said shrugging.

"What?!" Hikaru and kauro said. "How did we not realize it?!"

"I'm pretty much a guy in a girls body. Names Christiania." I said as I'd been leaning against the wall. "I'm often mistaken for being a guy but frankly I could care less."

"Well you still need to pay your dept." Kyouya said. "And given that your poor it would be wise to simply keep your gender a secret."

"Whatever. I really don't care if people think I'm a guy or girl." Haruhi said.

"Me neither." I said. "Well, its getting late and we've had a long day. See ya guys."

"See ya...." They all said.

That night I couldn't sleep. So I went for a stroll around the halls. As I walked I noticed tamaki sitting on a window will staring at the sky. So I walked over to him.

"Sup." I said.

Tamaki fliched. "Oh, Christiana, I didn't hear you coming."

" its Just chris." I told him. "Remember I'm a dude." I nudged his arm playfully.

Tamaki had had a depressed face which quickly turned to a slight laugh. "You really do have a captivating smile about you."

"I've been getting that a lot." I said casually. "Soo what brought you here during the wee hours."

"Thoughts..."

"About haruhi and me?" I asked. I put my hand on his shoulder, "tamaki you needn't worry about genders."

"I'm not worried, just thinking." Tamaki replied looking at the moon. "But it is a little stressful."

"I wouldn't think too much of it." I said. "In middle school we spent so much time together that because people mistook me for a guy some people thought we were dating."

Tamaki laughed, "thank you. I needed that."

"No problem. Even if I just met you I'll always help a friend." I replied with a gentle smile. "And no matter how much they might annoy me I'll always be there for them."

"I annoy you?"

"You have your moments." I said playfully punching his shoulder lightly. "But if you need any help with anything, don't hesitate to call me."

"I won't." Tamaki said with a smile of his own. I then gave him a comforting hug and we parted ways.
