"Seungkwan."

"Hmm?"

"Can you stop working at Jihoon's pub and work for me instead?"

Seungkwan stops scrolling through his phone and glance at Wonwoo, thinking that he might have heard it wrong."What..?"

"Are you deaf?" Wonwoo asks in a deadpan.

Seungkwan pouts. "Hyung, I can't. Jihoon hyung needs me at the pub. Also, he won't agree with this-"

The door buzzer interrupts Seungkwan and Wonwoo was quick to stand up and open the door for the visitor. It seems like he is expecting a guest.

Wonwoo opens the door and greets his expected friend. "Oh hi, Jihoon."

Jihoon ignores his greeting and walks past him. "Be sure that my visit is worth my time."

Seungkwan's eyes widen as he saw Jihoon walking in. They were both in surprise to see each other at Wonwoo's apartment.

"Jihoon hyung?!"

"Why are you here?"

Seungkwan shyly smiles as he scratches the back of his head. He was about to answer the question when he recalls something. He then shot a glance at Wonwoo. "Yah, you said you don't want them to know your new place yet you invited Jihoon hyung?"

"I meant Soonyoung and Junhui, Jihoon is an exception. Soonyoung and Junhui will probably crash at my place anytime they want if they know where I live, better not to tell them."

"That thing, I agree," Jihoon says while nodding. "But why the hell you invited me? I'm busy as you can see-"

"Fire Seungkwan. I need him."

Jihoon's eyebrow knotted, he crosses his arms while looking at Wonwoo with disbelief. "What?"

Wonwoo didn't budge, he looks at Jihoon straight in the eyes."I meant the work. Let Seungkwan leave the pub. I need him here."

"Why do you need him here?"

"No hyung, he'll just order me around-"

Wonwoo speaks that shuts Seungkwan. "He wanted to avoid Jun so I'm giving him the best choice. He can leave the pub and work for me instead to earn the money he will lose when you fire him."

Jihoon pauses for a while before deciding to talk. "So this is about Jun and not you needing him here?"

Wonwoo and Seungkwan went silent. Wonwoo doesn't have enough reason to elaborate on everything while Seungkwan thinks that he doesn't need to explain further since Jihoon already knew what is happening with the whole Jun situation.

Jihoon sighs as he loosens up. The awkward atmosphere turns calm. "You know Seungkwan, I really want you to stay at the pub but it's your choice. I won't meddle. Do what suits you."

Seungkwan bows his head and fiddles with his fingers. He somewhat feels pathetic for leaving his work at the pub for such a reason. It wasn't his idea but he really wish to avoid Jun so he wants to consider Wonwoo's offer. "I somewhat feel bad about avoiding him but yes I do. I.. I just don't want to disappoint you. You hired me when I really need a job.."

"You worked really well so don't think too much. I can hire another person in your place." Jihoon chuckles as he pats Seungkwan's shoulder.

Seungkwan's on the verge of crying, feeling touched by Jihoon's words. He hops a little closer and spreads his arms. "Jihoon hyung!"

"No hugging!"

"As you can see I can walk to my car, why did you insist on accompanying me." Jihoon says as they reach the building's parking lot.

"I know." Wonwoo answers

"So.. Is it just me or you're being considerate of Seungkwan? Did you hit your head or something?" Jihoon asks before he could even open his car's door.

"What the fuck are you saying? Is it about earlier?"

"Yeah. Kind of. You really offered him a job so he can avoid Jun at my pub."

Wonwoo's forehead creases. A bit annoyed. "Don't misunderstand. He keeps on bothering me every damn night to fetch him at your pub so he can avoid Jun. Offering him a job is a gain for me."

Jihoon scoffs. "Are you really sure about that?"

"What the hell are you up to?"

"Is it really just a bother or you're using Seungkwan's reason to keep Jun away from him?"

Wonwoo blinks and silence cover them for a while. Jihoon grins at Wonwoo's unusual reaction.

Wonwoo flinches. "W-what? You're being ridiculous-"

"I'm going, bye!" Jihoon ignores him and heads inside his car. He immediately starts the engine and drives off.

"Yah! Lee Jihoon!"

Wonwoo goes back to his unit feeling irritated. Jihoon's being ridiculous, how can he think such shitty things. He thought as he opens his apartment's door. He was immersed in punching Jihoon inside his head that he didn't notice Seungkwan heading towards him.

"Hey hyung, I'll get going," Seungkwan says as he wears his shoes. He ties the laces as he waits for Wonwoo's response.

"Fine. Do as you wish." Wonwoo simply replies, mind still into murdering Jihoon.

"Also. About the work you're offering.." Seungkwan starts as he carries Bookkeu to his arms. ".. what work do you want me to do?"

"Nothing really. You'll clean my apartment twice a week and do errands for me."

Seungkwan tilts his head. "Err.. you really like ordering me around."

"About your salary, I'll give you just the same you earn from Jihoon but with allowance."

"Woah. You're being too generous-"

"Why? Who said your work is easy?"
