"Where is Seungkwan?" Wonsik asks his younger brother who's casually scrolling through his phone while sitting on the couch in the boutique.
"I told him about the fitting today and I messaged him the location as well," Wonwoo answers, not paying a single glance at the older.
"You should have picked him up," Wonsik complains as the tailor continues to measure him.
"He doesn't want to, okay?"
Wonsik ignores Wonwoo and just talk with the tailor about his suggestions and needs for the suit that he wants to be made. His partner wants to see him in a clean white suit and he did mention it to his tailor.
They were busy discussing the wedding preparations when the door opens.
"Wonsik hyung! Sorry, I'm late." Seungkwan says while hurrying inside.
"Seungkwan!" Wonsik greets him. "No, it's fine. Come on!"
The fitting took a bit of their time. Both Wonwoo and Seungkwan can see the happiness and excitement in Wonsik's eyes. Who wouldn't be? The wedding is just a week away.
"I can drive you home." Wonwoo offers to Seungkwan as they exit the boutique.
Seungkwan was quick to shake his head. "No. I'm fine."
"Alright. If you say so." Wonwoo responds before his phone rings. He immediately fishes it out of his pocket to answer. "Oh- Hello? Yes. Alright. I'll be there."He ends the call and faces Wonsik. "Hyung, I got to go. I need to attend an emergency meeting."
"Oh, okay. See you around!" Wonsik responds. He then watches his brother get in his car and leave hurriedly. It seems like it's really an emergency. His eyes then darts to Seungkwan who's still standing next to him. "Hey, Kwannie. Wanna hang out at the house? My wife wants to meet you."
"Eh? Are you sure it's fine?"
"Yes, I'll cook dinner. You should come."
Seungkwan nods with a smile. "Okay. I won't decline the invitation."
---
"Woah. I can't recall you cooking at all, hyung." Seungkwan says as he looks at the table with well-prepared food. It was done by no other than Wonsik.
"Are you criticizing me?"
"Try it, Seungkwan. He cooks really well!" Jihyeon, Wonsik's soon-to-be wife, says as she gestures at the food.
Seungkwan didn't think twice and dig in. To his surprise, it did taste good than his expectation. "Oh, God. It really is!"
"I can cook. That's the only thing I'm better at than Wonwoo." Wonsik says. He then sees Seungkwan's expression change. He looks gloomy all of a sudden. "What's with the face..?"
"Nothing.." Seungkwan lies. How can he say that when Wonwoo is pressuring himself too much to reach what Wonsik had already achieved. He thought.
Wonsimk can tell that Seungkwan is bothered. "Hey.. I also noticed something off between you two earlier."
"There's nothing new. We don't really get along-"
"No. You were both quiet at the boutique. It wasn't the usual atmosphere when you're both inside a room. Wonwoo would usually pick a fight with you but he didn't. You two.. you were both like... aloof. Are you both avoiding each other?"
"No, hyung. We're fine."
"Your face is saying the opposite, honey." Jihyeon interferes. She looks at Seungkwan with worried eyes.
Wonsik looks at his partner and nods. "Yeah, Jihyeon's right. Is there something going on?"
Seungkwan went silent. He doesn't know how to start or if he really wants to open up.
"Alright. If you don't want to talk about it, it's fine-"
Wonsik was cut off when Jihyeon's phone rang. The lady was quick to stand up with his ringing phone and smile at both of them. "Alright. I'll excuse myself for a while so you two could talk."
"Fine.." Seungkwan sighs. Chest still heavy. "I'm.. I am avoiding Wonwoo hyung."
Wonsik didn't speak a single word so that Seungkwan can go on.
"These past few days- No. It was way longer than you could imagine. He's starting to open up with me. We're getting along, can you imagine? We seldom argue and we spent a lot of time together." Seungkwan tells, he doesn't know why his heartbeat suddenly went faster than usual. He's becoming uneasy and frustrated. "But that's just what I thought."
Wonsik tilts his head, trying to get a clearer view of Seungkwan. "What do you mean?"
Seungkwan lifts his head and glances at the older with a bitter smile. "Hyung.. I disgust him." He explains. His hands turn into fists. "Me liking men. That thing disgusts him. And that's when a thought hits me. Maybe he's been hating me ever since because I used to like him."
Silence covers them for a while until Wonsik releases a soft chuckle.
"Why are you laughing?" Seungkwan asks confused, also a bit annoyed.
"Oh sorry." Wonsik apologizes quick but his grins never fade. "Do you wanna know a thing?"
"What thing?" Seungkwan asks with furrowed eyebrows.
"The truth is, Wonwoo actually likes you."
