CHAPTER 13

" You're okay?"

Napaangat ako nang tingin kay Jade bago tumango habang habol ang hininga ko. She's my martial arts trainor. Hindi ko alam kung anong oras na. I had nightmares so I called her dahil ayoko nang matulog pa. I wanted to divert my attention through this.

" It's already 4:11 in the morning" she muttered.

Ang tagal na naming nandito sa loob ng Santos Center. Dito kami laging nagtetraining dahil si Jade naman ang may-ari nito. Kaibigan niya rin ang business partner niya. I'm actually one of her investor. Well I'm their only investor. Sapat na daw ang isang investor tutal malaki naman ang investment ko sakanila.

" Bakit mo naman naisipang magtraining sa gabi?" She asked.

" I can't sleep." I shrugged.

" So pampalipas oras mo lang ako?" She asked with a naughty smile. I laughed at her.

" Mukha nga. " Sagot ko.

" Why? Back to training kana ulit?" She asked and I nodded my head. Kapag marami akong ginagawa mas nakakatulog ako nang maayos sa sobrang pagod. Hindi narin naman ako nagkakaroon ng nightmares, well it's not only a nightmares, it actually happened.

I heard my Mom and Dad fighting again. It always happened everytime Dad came home and after Dad left, Mom always told me that it's just a mere misunderstanding. The house is at peace when Dad wasn't around so there are times that I wished Dad won't came home so I won't heard my Mommy cries and sobs. Why Dad always make my Mom cries? Mommy is her wife so he should kiss or hug my Mom if he came home but he's mad and hit my Mom.

" Why are you always having a misunderstanding? Don't you understand each other?" I innocently asked my Mom while we are inside my room, coloring my books. When they are fighting, Yaya Linda would came to me and brought me inside my room so I won't witnessed my parents fighting.

" It's normal to have a misunderstanding between married couple, Gianna. At the end of the day, we still forgive each other." She explained and kissed my forehead.

" But shouldn't forgiveness only accepted when you make mistake?" I questioned. That's what my teacher said. We should say sorry when we make mistakes.

" Yes Anak. Me and your Dad made a mistake that's why we forgive each other." She sweetly utter.

" But it always happened, was it still a mistake? Shouldn't mistake only considered by unintentionally? " Mommy was too stunned to speak. She hugged me and kissed my temple.

" You're too young, anak. " She muttered and as a 6 years old kid, I guess I didn't actually understand what adults do so I believed in my Mom's words.

" Don't you love each other?" I asked. If they love each other, they shouldn't fight.

Mommy hold my both cheeks and looked at me with a teary eyes.

" We do. We love each other."

I smiled because they do. But that was lies. Both of them lied to me.

" Hi Gianna.."

Umangat ang tingin ko mula sa pagkakabasa habang nandito sa library. Ngumiti naman ako nang makitang 'yong bagong kaklase namin this sem ang bumati saakin. Her name is Caitlyn.

" Hello Caitlyn " bati ko dito.

" Can I sit here?" tanong niya. Tumango naman ako kaya umupo ito sa kaharap kong upuan.

Binalik ko nalang ang tingin ko sa binabasa ko. Tiningnan ko ang kasama ko at nakita kong busy din ito sa librong  binabasa niya. Napansin ko na yan noong unang araw niya dito sa school. Masyado siyang aloof. Bihira lang siya makipag-usap sa iba.
