She turn her gaze at me then I fell in love again. Damn! She hit me so bad.
She held my cheek kaya wala sa sariling napapikit ako. I love the way her skin touches mine.
" Of course I did. You're with me." napadilat ako and I was to stunned to speak. Normal lang ang tibok ng puso ko. Hindi rin ako nagbublush. That moment, I felt so genuinely at peace.
And I realize from that moment, I don't need butterflies inside my tummy just to say I'm in love or how my heart beats so fast when I'm with her. It's the matter of comfortability and tranquility when you are with the person you love.
I feel safe and secure.
Kinuha ko ulit ang kamay niya at binalik sa pisngi ko. I want to feel her warmth. I love her warmth.
Nandito kami ngayon sa Tagaytay. may rest house dito sila Kadynce and I asked a favor kung pwedeng humiram muna and of course we're friends so she said yes. Its not actually a rest house, its a mansion. Sobrang laki ng bahay. Mula rito sa veranda ay tanaw namin ang mga ilaw sa baba. Nasa may Cliff nakatayo ang mansion kung saan kami ngayon. Idagdag mo pa ang mga bituin sa langit.
Malamig dito sa Tagaytay kaya kahit na may glass wall na nakaharang dito sa veranda ay malamig parin. Mas lumapit pa ako kay Thea so I can have her body heat. Hindi naman siya nagreklamo. Instead, kinumutan niya rin ako. Umayos kami ng higa dito sa malaking mattress. Pinaunan ko siya sa braso ko at tumitig sa mga bituin.
May buwan din pero half moon lang.
" Do you see that moon?" tanong ko.
" Of course" mataray na tanong niya. Sabagay I'm asking the obvious.
I remembered that she's selenophile.
" If you were that moon...I'm that little star just beside you. Naalala mo 'yong sinabi ko noong nasa Lagoon Resort tayo? na kapag moon ka gusto ko maging star?" She nodded her head.
" Because I want to see how magical you are. I want to see your lights through the darkness. I want to be with you under the same sky, the same nights and the same time. We'll shine together." I said and kissed her top head.
Wala akong narinig na sagot mula sakanya pero mas niyakap niya ako. She intertwined our hands. Napangiti ako sa actions niya.
" I don't know you're a poet " was all she commented kaya natawa ako.
" You're a poet when you're in love. I'm so in love with you and you know that" I said.
" I know and I'm blessed to be love by you" ang lakas magpakilig ni Thea. 'Yong wala naman siya masyadong sinabi pero mas kinilig ako. Ang daya masyado.
Ang rupok mo lang talaga.
Oo na. Mahal ko eh.
" Happy birthday again, Gianna." bumangon siya ng konti at hinalikan ako sa labi kaya lumapad ang ngiti ko.
Best birthday.
" Anyway, my gift for you was in Manila. Nakalimutan kong ibigay sayo kahapon kasi nagmamadali ako baka hindi na kita maabutang gising at hindi na nga because you were drunk last night." She utter.
" So totoo 'yong kagabi? hindi lang panaginip 'yon?" she chuckled at my sudden questions.
" Yeah. I came to your birthday kaya lang late ako but at least nakahabol parin. " Sabagay ay may point naman siya.
