The Summoner's Vendetta (First Draft) (Book Two)

When Memories still have a Hold

As soon as Lord Remir called an end to class, Sin fled as if there were a fire biting at his heels. Seeking sanctuary from the prying eyes that he had been feeling tracking his every movement since exiting his room in the first place, he found himself hiding within his dorm and though for now he was alone; he knew that eventually Castien would be entering the room and considering that he hasn't been in the mood to deal with the other male, Sin forced himself to enter his room.

Coming into his room for the first time since returning from Caso, he was immediately assaulted with the memories that he had made with the first boy that he had allowed to know him in a way that was more than friendship.

With their bodies fully bare to the other, their naked chests bumped into the other as Sin and Nohki gave way to the desires that their first kiss had awakened within them. As their hands glided across the other's body as they searched out the best way to bring pleasure to the other, their lips hardly ever separated for fear that they would wake and everything that they were experiencing would only be a dream.

Even as their lips were glued to the other, moans of ecstasy managed to break out bounce around the room. Due to the volume of the noises that each male was making, they were sure that everyone else within the dorm were able to hear them though since they were currently lost in their need for the other; their minds weren't too caring if others were able to hear them or not.

As time passed around them, Nohki eventually found himself with his lower body touching the bed though before he was able to fully process the fabric tracing his skin; Sin gave a small shove to the older male's chest.

While the light shove surely didn't hurt Nohki, it was enough to startle him though once again; he didn't have much time to process anything before Sin was crawling on top of him. The moment that Sin was fully upon the other male, he was once more placing his lips upon Nohki's and while this kiss was just as passionate as the others; it wasn't long before he was moving away from Nohki's lips to place his own upon various parts of the older male's body.

From the placement of Sin's lips upon his body, Nohki was once more brought into the embrace of the pleasure that has been hounding him since the very first kiss that the two of them shared. This was made obvious from the moans that broke out from their prison within Nohki's throat and as Sin was listening to the moans that he was causing to fall out of the other boy, a smile formed upon his lips as he continued dragging them across Nohki's body.

With his lips working their way down Nohki's stomach, his hands were exploring the rest of the lower portion of his body. At this point, Sin brought his lips off his slightly older lover and as he did so, he looked directly into Nohki's eyes. "If I hurt you, please let me know and I will stop..."

Before he was able to get completely lost within the memory, a scream tore from him which brought him back to the reality in which he is now alone which is not as bearable as it once was. With his scream still vibrating around him, he was unaware that he was no longer alone and as he came crashing to his knees with tears spilling down his cheeks; a hand was placed upon his shoulder.

Even though he knew that anyone who was coming into the dorm wouldn't be any threat to him, his body reacted as if they were and as his closed fist came swinging towards the individual who had intruded into his meltdown; he noticed that Castien had found himself within his room.

Using the last sliver of sanity that he had left within his scarred mind; Sin forced his arm to stop moving and though it didn't happen instantly, his fist eventually stopped mere inches away from Castien's nose.

Standing as if he had just been frozen by an elemental spell, Castien took a few moments to compose himself before moving away from the fist that was just now dropping back down towards Sin's side. As he moved, Castien crouched down beside his dormmate and as he did so; his voice fluttered out around the two of them.

"Sin, what is the matter..." Castien muttered out as he continued to keep his hand upon Sin's shoulder and as he came to the end of those words, it became obvious to him what must have caused the emotions that his dormmate has been containing to eventually spill over. "...is this about Nohki?"

Upon mentioning that name of the boy that had broken and betrayed him, Castien watched as Sin became visibly agitated and while he thankfully didn't take another swing at him; this was all that Castien needed to know that his instincts were correct.

"It will be alright...you loved him, and you are allowed to miss him!" Castien spoke as he tightened his hold on Sin's shoulder. 

Even though his was holding on to Sin as tightly as he could without harming him, this was not enough to keep him on his feet as he was flung backwards when Sin jumped back to his feet. Looking down at the first person he had made friends with within his class of students, Sin could feel the same rage that he had earlier in this day build within him once more and though he wished to use his fists against someone or something; he chose to go with the less violent method of getting his pain to subside.

"How in the world would you know that I loved him! I am not even sure that if I know that..." Sin cried as he roared at the boy that was downed before him. With each word that he flung out into the world; Sin began to pace around the room. "...he betrayed me and if either of us truly loved one another, then we would have been able to fix whatever issues were going on with him without having to be stabbed!"

As Sin came to an end of his words, he once again started to sob to himself and as he was doing this; Castien used this as an opportunity to push himself back to his feet. Once he was off the ground, he once more made his way over to Sin and placed his hand upon him though this time around; Sin didn't take a swing at him which Castien hoped would continue throughout the remainder of this interaction.

"Those who love each other, often end up hurting one another and though I don't truly understand the reasons behind this or the reasons behind Nohki's betrayal; I swear to you that one day you will be able to put this behind you!" Castien muttered out in a voice that sounded as if it was begging for Sin to believe him. 

Tears continued to spill from his eyes as he turned to face Castien and as he stared at the boy, he was searching his mind for the perfect words to express how he was feeling. "That explanation is one that I will never understand. If you love someone I...I believe that you would do everything in your power to protect them, not harm them..." Sin replied in a voice that was much softer than he previously used. "...whatever reasons that he has for what he did to me, I doubt that I will ever know considering that I have no idea where he is."

With those words, Castien grasped ahold of Sin with both hands and pulled him into his embrace and as the two stood there; Sin's sobs could still be heard echoing around the room. As Castien held Sin within his arms, one hand glided across his back as he attempted to comfort his friend and dormmate. Between each sob that pulled from him, Sin let another set of words come falling out as his head was held upon Castien's chest.

"These memories won't stop haunting me..." Sin cried out as he smeared his tears across the front of Castien's shirt. "...everywhere I look, I see traces of his presence. Everything is haunted by the memories of him."
