After freeing the female half-breed that was chained beneath the barn, Sin and those who had searched the area with him; brought her back to the farmhouse where he intended to question this newcomer about the events that led up to her capture.

During the time that Sin was leading them back to the farmhouse, he was occasionally taking glances at the female which allowed him to assume which races made up her genetic code. While she did have pointed ears like all those who were of elven blood, her ears were much shorter than the average elf which told him that she must have also been mixed with human blood.

By the time that Sin had been able to full gather the details about this strangers' heritage, they had reached the house and since he was wishing to gain the intel that he was wanting; he quickly pushed his way inside. Once inside the house, he noticed that Mita and Sandrin were sitting within the living space and considering that the bodies of the dead were no longer there; he assumed that they must have removed them. From examining the room, he was also able to see that Lucius wasn't present within it and while he was curious on where the other male could be; he assumed that he was guarding their prisoner.

Deciding that he would focus on Lucius and their prisoner after his discussion with this stranger, Sin brought himself to an empty chair. Waving to those who were following him, Sin watched as they took seats of their own.

Keeping his eyes fixed on the stranger who by now has noticed that Sin was examining her quite intently, he saw her began to fidget with her hair and though it wasn't exactly how he portrayed his anxiety; this action reminded Sin of himself. Not wanting to leave her there to suffer in the emotional turmoil that anxiety could cause someone, Sin's voice was soon filling the room.

"My name is Sin Estiri, and these are my friends and fellow Mage trainees that hail from Kanerra, Academy for the Arcane..." Sin explained as he pointed at each of his companions that had left the Academy with him; as his finger landed upon each of them, he was giving the stranger their names which he hoped would make her more comfortable around them. "...while I am pleased that we were able to reach you in time before something unsightly happened to you; I would prefer to know what had happened to cause you to be take hostage by the Pure Regime when they usually kill us on sight."

The sudden appearance of Sin's voice startled the stranger though she was able to recover much sooner than Sin originally thought she would and once she did; her voice flitted back towards him. "My name is Corina West...Westo..." the now named Corina responded though quickly had to cut herself off when she began to stutter. Once Corina was able to gain control of her vocals once more, her voice started again. "...I am quite grateful to you for rescuing me from that dungeon especially given what they were planning on doing to me if they had the time."

Upon reaching the end of her words, Corina gave Sin as well as the others a slight bow which informed them that she respected them for the actions that they had performed on her behalf. This bow only lasted a few moments before Corina was facing them once more and when she was, she began to tell the story about how she found herself within the grasp of the Pure Regime.

"Are you sure that you want to use our enemy's safehouse as our base? Wouldn't this make you extremely uncomfortable?" Castien inquired as he and the remainder of their friends as well as their newest ally sat around the fire that they started within the fireplace.

This was a question that Sin had been asking himself since he had suggested they use this farmhouse as their base of operations within the area. While he was trying to remind himself why he had suggested this in the first place, Sin kept himself quiet for now and when he finally decided that his suggestion was the right one for them; his voice eventually retorted the words that Castien had said.

"Yes. I do believe that we should use this farmhouse as our base and while it is true that I may feel a little uncomfortable when it comes to thinking of the horrors that could have been done to my people within this building; but I still believe that for now this would be the best place for us to operate." Sin explained and due to how long winded his explanation was, he had to take some time to recuperate his breathing.

Sin's explanation must have been enough to settle the doubts that were rolling within Castien's mind considering that the elven male placed his hand upon Sin's shoulder before moving on to converse with the others.

Seeing this as an opportunity to get himself settled within what would be their home for the time being, Sin pushed himself from his seat before heading towards one of the rooms that were nearby. Once Sin was within the room, he saw that the room contained two beds that were separated by a blank wall and while there were other pieces of furniture within the room; his attention was focused upon the blank wall.

Upon looking at the wall, Sin felt the overwhelming urge to fill it and while he knew that he could open a portal without the design though he wasn't sure how he was able to do so; he still felt that it would be best if he still crafted the design.

Deeming this to be the best time for him to craft the portal, Sin moved towards the wall and as he did so; he pulled a piece of chalk from his bag. The moment that Sin reached the wall that he would be using as a canvas; he began his work.

Sin had made progress since he first started working on the portal's design. He was halfway through his work when the sound of the door opening pulled his attention from the design he was crafting. Flicking his eyes towards the noise, Sin could see that both Sandrin as well as Corina had made their way inside.

Curious as to what could have caused them to seek him out, Sin thought that he would take a break from his work so he could find out what they needed. "Did the two of you need something?" Sin questioned as he turned to face the two beings who entered the room.

Neither Corina nor Sandrin answered right away though Sin was thankful that he didn't have to wait long before he got the response to his question. "Corina has been speaking with the others about our plan and she was wondering if there was any way for her to join in our fight..." Sandrin started to explain when it became clear that Corina wasn't feeling all that chatty.

Before Sandrin could finish with the words that he was wanting to say on Corina's behalf; the female half-breed must have changed her mind considering that her voice was soon fluttering around the room.

"...I am tired of walking through the streets fearful of the next time that someone will say or do something that is harmful to me just based on what races mix within my body!" Corina suddenly cried out as she stared into Sin's eyes.
