The next morning, Sin awoke later than he had originally planned which meant that he would have to rush through his morning routine to ensure that he didn't break his first training with one of their newest members that had come out as a Dark Mage.

With most of his routine skipped or not done to his standards, Sin rushed through the door and due to his frazzled mind; he was quite thankful that he didn't waltz into the corridor naked as the day he was born. After escaping the barrier that kept him contained within his room, Sin quickly made his way towards the common area which is where he had informed the Mage that he was going to help down the path of a Dark Mage.

Now that Sin was free from his room, he could feel his heart slow down from the racing pace that awakening late had thrown it into and by the time that he had arrived at within the common area; the beating of his heart had returned to normal.

As soon as he pushed past the threshold that separated the commons from the different areas of the safehouse, Sin could see that both Exodus as well as Corina were waiting within the room which confused Sin considering that he hadn't told both to wait for him. "Exodus. Corina..." Sin called out as he fully entered the room which caused two of their three newest members to turn their heads in the direction of his voice. "...while it is a pleasure to see you this morning, I don't remember asking to meet with you Corina. I have set aside this time so I can set Exodus down the path of a Dark Mage."

While Sin didn't mean to sound rude, he felt as if his words came off harsher than he had intended them to though thankfully, Corina didn't seem offended by his words of the tone that he used.

"I knew that you were planning on meeting with Exodus this morning and considering that I am new to my role as a Mage, I was wondering where I should start my studies." Corina explained as she stood across from Sin.

Upon hearing her words, Sin's eyes were drawn towards the cuff that adorned her wrist. This cuff had turned from its once clear state to a now dark grey which told him and all those who knew of the difference between Mages that Corina had started down the path of a Grey Mage. Even though Sin was thrilled that Corina had the gift for magic flowing through her veins, he was slightly disappointed that she was a Grey Mage considering that none within their ranks other than her were.

Humming in response to the words that she had spoken, Sin knew that even though he had originally planned on beginning Exodus's training early; that he wouldn't be able to neglect Corina's training even though he knew absolutely nothing about Grey Magic. Motioning towards the two that were standing before him, Sin turned and made his way in the direction that he had originally came.

"I am sorry for the late start Exodus and while I can't promise that our future training sessions will always be on time; I can promise that I will be the best mentor that I can be for you." Sin explained as he stood beside the other half-breed who was currently looking through one of the many tomes that Sin had brought with them when they had left the Academy. Now that he had given his word to be the best mentor he could be for Exodus, Sin continued with the instruction that he had planned on giving the other male. "Since you have awakened as a Dark Mage, there are three paths that you have the option of taking. The first path is Curse Magic, the second is Shadow Magic and the last is the path that I have chosen for myself which is known as Summoning Magic."

After finishing with his explanation, Sin had expected Exodus to dive into the tome like he did when he had first stepped down the path to becoming a Dark Mage. What happened was not similar in the slightest.

Exodus slammed the book shut before turning to face Sin. "I already know which path that I wish to pursue..." Exodus explained as he pushed himself free from the table and took his leave from his chair. "...the moment that I saw you standing over me waving that sword made of ice and controlling a creature that was terrifying, I knew that if I ever had the chance to be what you were; that I would want to follow the same path that you did!"

While Sin was hopeful that Exodus would choose the path of the Summoner, he wasn't going to force anything upon him so hearing these words fall from the other male's mouth; caused a wave of joy to flood through him. This joy that he felt within him caused Sin to want to bellow out what he was feeling within though knowing that this could startle Exodus, Sin contained himself and instead tried to keep his demeanor calm.

"Very well..." Sin started though considering that he felt as if his excitement was going to burst free, he had to pause his words so he could contain the emotions within him and once he felt that he had done this, he was once again speaking. "...if you wish to start down the path to becoming a Summoner, then we must enter the Faelands so you can bond with your first Fae." Sin explained as he made his way towards the portal that he had drawn on one of his bedroom walls.

For a second, Sin thought about having Exodus craft a portal of his own though considering he was wishing to set him down the path as quickly as he could; Sin decided that Exodus could do this another time though he was still going to have him open the portal on his own. Arriving upon the portal, Sin turned towards Exodus and began to give him the words that would allow him to force the portal to bend to his will.

Two hours had past since Sin had given Exodus the words to open the portal and while the process of opening the rift to the other world could have gone smoother, eventually the pair made their way through the shimmering violet that would bring them into the Faelands.

As soon as they stepped into the other world, Sin forced his eyes to stare upon Exodus's form which allowed him to see the expression of pure amazement that jumped upon him. While it was true that Exodus was already a handsome individual that would have drawn Sin's eyes regardless, the expression that blazed across him; amplified every line upon him which caused him to look even more handsome than he already was.

Feeling the blossoming of emotions within him that he didn't feel he was ready to deal with considering his unfinished relationship with the boy that had betrayed him, Sin forced his eyes away from the other male before the emotions could finish their blossoming.

When the thumping in his chest slowed, Sin deemed that he was ready to look in Exodus's direction once more which he quickly did. The same expression that had caused Sin's heart to starting beating uncontrollably in the first place still lingered upon his face though this time around, Sin was ready for it. Steeling himself against the emotions that once again tried to form within him and when he believed that he had control over them, his voice fluttered around them.

"Now that we are within the Faelands...let us begin."
