By the time that Sin had arrived upon the area that he had set his and Exodus's camp, the sun had already started sliding towards the horizon. While he was quite exhausted from the day's activities, he had no issues keeping himself awake due to the constant noises that his companions were making.
Sin had originally assumed that after he had helped Nasir claim another Fae as his own, that the elf would decide that their time together was over though considering that the other male was still traveling with him as he entered the camp; it was possible that Nasir planned on staying.
Throughout their journey from the battlegrounds where they had fought the Golem, Sin had been holding his newest Kitsune within his arms considering that she was still weak. This allowed him to see that his newest Familiar's eyes were shaded a deep crimson which told him that she had the ability to control fire.
The moment that Sin entered his camp fully, he felt a weariness start to claim him. On the off chance that this weariness forces him into unconsciousness, Sin thought that it would be best if he was sitting upon the ground. Dropping to the ground with a thump, Sin watched as Nasir did the same.
Since he was still curious as to what Nasir's plans were now that he had completed his objective, Sin was about to speak when suddenly a gust of wind battered against them. Shielding his eyes as well as his injured Kitsune with his arms, Sin waited for the windstorm to die down before removing them which allowed him to see that both Exodus as well as Soren had arrived. For a split second, when he first saw his Griffin; Sin thought that he was injured since he was holding one of his legs up though upon closer inspection Sin could see that there was an unknown creature dangling from the paw.
The Fae that Soren had captured within his paw was no bigger than either of Sin's Kitsune. This Fae had pure black fur that covered every inch of their body though upon a closer inspection, Sin could see that crimson fur was patched around their eyes which happened to be a deep shade of blue.
As Sin was continuing to examine the creature that Soren held within his paw, his examination was broken when Exodus placed himself in front of the Fae. "What do you think of the Fae that Soren helped me capture?" Exodus inquired before placing a large grin upon his face that didn't hide an ounce of the pride that Exodus was feeling for what he was able to accomplish.
"I think that they are wonderful Exodus!" Sin responded from his position upon the ground and while he was extremely proud of what Exodus was able to accomplish considering that he had just settled on the path of the Summoner that very day, he was curious as to why the Fae was being held within Soren's paw. "While I am proud of you Exodus, I am curious as to why Soren is holding your Fae considering that it seems to me as if he just returned from a hunting trip."
Upon hearing these words come out of Sin's mouth, a crimson hue swept across Exodus's pale skin which made it obvious that he was embarrassed about something. Thankfully, Sin didn't have to wait long before he learned what this something was.
"The tome that I was reading before we left, didn't explain to me how I was supposed to bond with the Fae..." Exodus explained as he ran his fingers through his hair. "...to ensure that I didn't lose the Fae, I asked Soren to keep it captured until you were able to explain to me how I was supposed to bond with it."
Now it was time for Sin to feel his own wave of embarrassment spread throughout his body considering that he should have already known the reasons behind his Griffin keeping the other Fae captive. "I am sorry Exodus. I should have realized that you couldn't bond with the Fae if you didn't know how to." Sin replied as he placed his new Kitsune upon the ground so he could help Exodus bond with his captured Fae.
Pushing himself off the ground, Sin was quickly making his way towards his Griffin. When he arrived, Sin started informing Exodus on the process of forming bonds between a Summoner and the Fae.

Sin had already been awake for a few hours and considering that he didn't hear any other noise within the safehouse, this allowed him to have a few hours of peace and quiet so he could spend some time expanding his knowledge. The first thing that he did was open the tome known as Into the Faelands so he could gather intel about the Fae that Exodus had managed to bond with.
Flipping through the pages until he came to the one that held an image of the creature that Sin was searching for, Sin learned that the creature was known as a Brownie. Glancing down the page, Sin could see that there was much information that would be of use to a Summoner that had bonded with one of these Fae and considering that he had sworn to help train Exodus in the art of Summoning; he deemed that he should know the information as well.
The Brownie is a species of Fae that are no bigger than feline or vulpine animals. While their size can leave them at a disadvantage to Fae that are bigger or faster than they are, Brownies are intertwined with their environment which can allow them to escape or even lead a bigger Fae into an area that would be unhospitable for them.
Brownies are semi-Elemental Fae that have small control over nature which they often use to shield themselves from predators or even hunt down Fae that are injured or smaller than they are.
As we studied these creatures, we have learned that they have many of them differ from one another. Fur and eye color can change drastically upon a Brownie though we have seen no differences in the element that these creatures use which make us believe that they only have the one.
Upon reaching the last of the words that the page contained, Sin deemed that he had learned everything that he needed to know about the Brownie. This was something that fate seemed to agree on as well considering that a knock echoed on his door the moment that he shut the tome.
Assuming that it was one of their group's newest Mages coming to ask him a question or borrow one of the many tomes that he held within his room, Sin was quickly making his way towards the door which had another knock echo upon it. Feeling a slight tingling of annoyance ripple through him, Sin opened the door as he prepared to let out a tirade of words that would teach whoever was on the other side to get a grip on their patience. His preparations quickly died when he saw that each of their newest Mages as well as Nasir was standing on the other side.
"We are sorry to disturb you Sin, but it seems that your students here were in a hurry to get out in the field." Nasir explained as he moved himself slightly away from the others.
This was something that Sin should have assumed considering that they were all wishing to get their own sort of vengeance upon the Pure Regime though since they haven't gotten a true understanding of what they could now do, Sin felt that it was too early for them to enter the field on their own.
"Corina. Sandrin." Sin started and when he saw that both half-breeds were staring at him with their full attention, words started falling from his mouth once more. "Before I trust that you will be successful in the field, I would like the both of you to have a better control and understanding of your Magic. For now, I would like you both to continue studying and you can feel free to use any of the tomes within my room for this if the desire strikes."
While he could see that they were disappointed in having their wish denied, Sin could see that they were going to argue with them and as they slinked off to another area of the safehouse; Sin turned his attention to Exodus. "Just like I said to the others, I believe that you aren't ready for a mission out in the field. You should take this time to bond with your new Familiar and considering that I will be taking us back into the Faelands; you will have the time to do so." Sin informed his protégé before turning to make his way towards the wall that held the design of the portal upon it.
