Within their safehouse, Sin and Mita were hunched over the books that they had sprawled out before them. "How in the world are we supposed to craft this ore into the cuffs that we need for our recruits, when neither of us are Blacksmiths?" Sin screeched out in an unrestrained fury as he slammed his closed fists upon the table.
Feeling his blood begin to boil at the idea that his plan would fail before he even had a real chance to put it into action, Sin knew that he would do something he would later regret if he didn't remove himself from the situation that was causing him emotional turmoil.
Fate must have had the same plan for him considering that at this time, Castien's voice filled the room. "We have returned and while we do have intel to pass onto you, I think that it would be best if you explain what is causing you so much anger." Castien explained as both Sin and Mita turned to face them.
Hopeful that one of his elven companions would have the answers that would shed light into how they could fix the problem that had appeared, Sin thought that it would be best if he informed them on what was upsetting him.
"We are struggling with learning to forge...the two of us have been practicing on the iron ore that Mita extracted from the ground; though everything that we forge keeps collapsing in on itself!" Sin huffed in slight as he gazed upon his two companions.
For an unknown reason, a slight smile began to pull at Castien's lips. Seeing this only caused his aggravation to grow though he was able to keep his anger in check. While he might have chosen to keep himself from allowing his anger to burst free, this wasn't going to stop Sin from questioning Castien on the reasons behind the smile.
Before Sin was able to free one of the words that were rolling upon his tongue, Castien's voice was already fluttering around them once more. "That shouldn't be a problem..." Castien called out as he started to close the distance between himself and Sin. Upon arriving before him, Castien's voice cut through the room. "...during my adolescent years before I decided to become a Mage; my brother and I apprenticed under my uncle, so I know a little about Blacksmithing."
Hearing that Castien had a basis in the skill that they were needing to follow his plan, Sin flung himself upon the other male.
With his legs and arms wrapping themselves around Castien's body, Sin could feel the other male begin to buckle and while he knew that this could bring both sprawling upon the ground; the bliss that was flooding through him pushed this knowledge to the back of his mind.
Just as the inkling of a warning drifted around the back of his mind, seconds later; both came crashing to the ground. "Ugh!" both Castien and Sin groaned out as the pain from the crash vibrated through their bodies.
A moment after they let loose their pain filled voices, a small chuckle began to rip from both. What started off as a small noise, eventually grew into a roar as the pair of downed males allowed the full force of their laughter to rocket through the room. While Mita and Enmoria had already been within the room at the start of the outburst, their other travelling companions were drawn towards the noise.
Before long the entirety of their group was drawn into the central area of their safehouse and as their friends stared down at them; they too started to feel the boisterous mood vibrate within them.
Fearful that they would miss out on one of the slim occasions that Sin was in a playful mood like this; one by one those standing around them, flung themselves upon them.

Once the group grew tired of their rambunctious actions, they found themselves sitting in various places within the living area. Considering that Sin still needed to hear what Castien and Enmoria were able to learn while they were scouting, he thought that this would be the best use for their remaining time for the day.
Castien must have figured that this would be what Sin wanted to do considering that his voice pushed out the silence that had gathered upon the room before Sin could even open his mouth. "While we were investigating the city, what we saw was quite shocking..." Castien called out as he flitted his eyes from one being to the next and when he eventually came to stare at Sin once more, his voice once again broke out around them. "...a war is brewing within the city with those who wish to see your kind exterminated on one side and those who are fighting for your survival on another."
With his words coming to an end, Castien allowed silence to creep into the room once more so those he was speaking to could digest the information that he had just given them. Taking this as an opportunity to finally question them, Sin was speedy in his wish to fling his voice into the world.
"Were either of you able to determine who was leading either of these groups?" Sin inquired as his eyes flicked between the two beings that he had sent to gather information within the city.
Neither elf that Sin was staring at answered right away though before he was able to give way to the growing annoyance that was building within him at how his enemies seemed to be everywhere; a voice flitted through the room. "As far as we could gather, each force is being led by one of the noble families that live within Elessan." Enmoria responded due to her deciding to take charge of giving Sin his answer.
Just as his two elven companions did, Sin allowed the room to be engulfed in silence as he took a few minutes to think on what he had learned. "It seems that Sten was able to find someone in power that shares his views..." Sin concluded as he readied himself to speak to his friends once more. "...when you were scouting Elessan, were you able to find anyone who would be willing to join in our fight against the Pure Regime?"
From the way the two being shook their heads, Sin knew that their answer went against what he hoped for. Still wishing to look on the bright side of everything, a spark of an idea began to form within his mind. While it was true that the others were acting as if he were their leader, Sin still didn't wish to put them in a dangerous position if they didn't wish to partake.
"If we are still wishing to raise an army against Sten and the Pure Regime, then I believe that we should join those that are already fighting against the sect that is operating within the city..." Sin explained as his eyes flickered from one companion to another. After the short pause that he had taken, his voice was once again filling the silence that had descended upon them. "...if any of you wish to give an opinion or raise a concern, now would be the time. I can't have anything go wrong when we are in the depths of battle."
As the last of his words echoed throughout the room, Sin watched and waited for any of his companions to step forward and grace him with their words. When none came, he rightly assumed that all his friends were on board with this mission.
Now that he had finished with the business that he and his companions had, Sin pushed himself from his seat so he could begin walking down the path that would bring him to those that would stand beside him in this fight against the Pure Regime.
