After the last couple days, Sin awoke the next morning with the wish to continue his battle against the Pure Regime and considering that there was no better way than to work with Lord Khesta and his soldiers; Sin and a small team of his Mages were quickly making their way from their safehouse and through the city of Elessan. The team that was following him through the city streets consisted of Nasir, Enmoria as well as Lucius while the others of their band were left at the safehouse to both guard it as well as continue the work that they have been tasked with.
Considering that they have already been traveling for an hour, Sin knew that they were close to arriving at their destination especially since he had memorized the route as well as the sites that were a part of it.
After noticing how close they were to arriving at their destination, Sin spotted Lord Khesta's manor which caused him to add a little more haste to his step since he was boiling with the urge to send those connected with the Pure Regime on to the next life. Within a few short heartbeats they arrived at the gates of the manor and considering that everyone within Lord Khesta's service could recognize them, the gates automatically started to open.
The moment that they were through the gates, Sin angled himself towards the manor itself in hopes of finding the Lord of this estate which in turn would grant them a mission to take their vengeance upon the Pure Regime.

Even though the estate was large, just like how Sin had memorized the route he took from their safehouse to the manor; he had the route memorized that would bring him from the entrance of the estate to Lord Khesta's war room as well. The door loomed before him and just like how he acted when first entering the estate, Sin moved to enter the room though before he was able to turn the knob; he heard voices coming from within.
While he couldn't hear the words that were being spoken, he could hear the urgency within the voice which told Sin that something was happening that could be exactly what he had come looking for.
Hopeful that Lord Khesta had need of him and those that had followed him, Sin twisted the knob and pushed the door opened which revealed the conversation that was taking place within the room.
"...we have a situation, Marshall. The convoy that we had sent to escort our mer..." the Captain of Lord Khesta's force called out as he stood before the Lord of the manor. Before Captain Dryden was able to finish with the entirety of his words, Lord Khesta suddenly held up a hand that caused his subordinate to immediately cut of his words before turning to face what had pulled Lord Khesta's attention away from the situation that they were in.
The moment that Captain Dryden sighted Sin and those that followed him, a dark expression formed on his face though it quickly slithered away before the man turned back to face the Lord that he served. Though Sin was extremely curious as to what could have caused the urgency within the Captain's voice, his first instinct was to return the expression that the Captain gave him with one of his own though unlike the older man; Sin had no qualms about Lord Khesta seeing his detest for the other male.
Making his way closer to the older men, Sin was about to verbalize his detest for the Captain though before he could; Lord Khesta began to speak which pulled Sin's attention from the Captain and back to the Lord of the estate.
"It is a pleasure to see you Sin though I am curious as to what we owe this pleasure to?" Lord Khesta called out as he stood across from Sin and his band of Mages.
Considering that Sin thought highly of Lord Khesta, he didn't wish to give the man the darkened expression that he was giving to Captain Dryden. Taking a few moments to wipe the look from his face, Sin responded to Lord Khesta once he felt that he was perfectly composed. "I have been feeling restless considering that I haven't fought the Pure Regime in some time which caused my team and I to decide to visit you in hopes that you have work that you need our help with." Sin explained as he stood across from Lord Khesta and Captain Dryden.
As Sin was speaking, his companions came up to stand beside him which gave Sin a sense of comfort knowing that he had them here with him considering that he viewed the Captain of Khesta's guards as an enemy.
Hearing that Sin and his companions had come to help them caused a smile to form upon Lord Khesta's lips though what was even more surprising was that Captain Dryden held a smile as well.
"This is wonderful news!" Lord Khesta cried out before slapping Captain Dryden in the shoulder with his hand. "Captain Dryden here has just informed me that the convoy I sent out to escort a group of half-breeds to safety was attacked by the Pure Regime and those that weren't killed were captured by those filthy bigots."
Even though Sin hated that his people were still being terrorized by the Pure Regime and the cruelty that they sew through the world, he was thankful that an opportunity was presented for him to get vengeance for those that have been harmed. "We will gladly accept this mission as our own!" Sin replied as his hands clenched in barely contained rage upon learning his people have been slaughtered and captured.

"Are you sure that we should be performing this mission? Especially given that Captain Dryden is coming along with us?" Lucius whispered as he and his companions were readying themselves for the upcoming mission. From the shocked expression that burst upon Sin's face, Lucius could see that Sin was concerned with the direction that his question was going. Wanting to ensure that Sin didn't believe that he had any issues with rescuing those that were like him, he was speaking once more. "I don't want you getting the wrong ideas but there is something off about the conversation that we walked in one earlier. All of us heard them speaking and I didn't hear one mention of your kind being escorted to safety."
While Sin was grateful that he didn't have to worry about Lucius regretting putting his life on the line to save those of mixed blood, he didn't appreciate the implied accusation of Lord Khesta considering that he was the only one of power that Sin had met that was fighting back against the Pure Regime.
Even though Sin's first instinct was to jump to Lord Khesta's defense, he contained the words that were trying to burst free from him as he turned to examine those that were joining them on this mission. This allowed Sin to see that Captain Dryden was at the other end of the courtyard forcing the soldiers that he was bringing along with him into straight lines. As Sin was examining the soldiers, he saw a few of them staring back at him and his companions as well and while he wasn't fond of the words that Lucius spoke; he knew that he couldn't allow himself to be betrayed once again by someone that he trusted.
Turning back to face his companions,Sin finally gave Lucius a response to the words that he had spoken momentsbefore. "Lord Khesta seems like a good man though I can understand where youare coming from so, I give you my blessing to keep an eye on those who areassociated with House Khesta; just don't let this mission get in the way of ourtrue objective today which is to save those who have been captured by the PureRegime."
