At the first rays of light started to flicker within the Faelands, Sin was already gathering his belongings though before he did this; he made sure that all traces of a fire were wiped from the area to ensure that no spark would reignite and lay waste to the world that they were travelling through.
While he was planning to wake the others, who were still currently enjoying their rest; Sin didn't get the chance to. From the noises that were starting to break into the world around their camp, Sin could rightly assume that they were starting to wake on their own. Before he was able to check and see which of his companions had woken, a voice came rippling through the area.
"Did you get any sleep last night?" Castien called out in a voice that was still riddled with sleep. Turning to face his companion, Sin was readying himself to respond to him.
Even though Sin had been planning on responding to the question though before he could, Castien was overtaken by a yawn that forced him to stretch out his entire body. Figuring that anything he said would be missed because of this, Sin waited for the other male to finish with what he was doing before responding.
Once Sin saw that Castien had finished with his yawn induced stretching, he was immediately responding to the question that he had posed. "Yes, I was able to get some sleep though since I was worried that a Fae would sneak up on us while we were sleeping; I woke up on and off throughout the night." Sin explained as he watched Castien push himself off the ground.
By the time that he had finished with his words, more movement could be heard coming from the others that were within the camp. Eventually, Sin and Castien were no longer the only members of their group that were awake.
Thankfully as the others came to, he didn't have to repeat the answer that he had just given Castien. Before long, the entire group was ready to make their way through the Faelands to an area that could be used for them to return to their own world.

Sin was just about to finish a three-hour process of creating the portal that would allow him and the others to return to the world that they came from. Just as he was about to draw the last line of the portal's design, something bumped into him which caused him to slide the chalk that he was using in the wrong direction.
Placing the chalk that he was using to draw the design; upon the ground, Sin stood and turned towards his companions who were looking rather sheepishly at one another.
Annoyance was starting to eat at him and though he wished to allow his anger that has been developing due to the way that his friends have been acting throughout the entire time they had been traveling through the Faelands as well as messing up his design; he thought it would be best if he tried to contain his anger as best as he could.
"I understand that we all wish to be returning to our own world..." Sin started as he glared at each member of his friend group. "...it would be much easier for me to do this if I didn't have to listen to your whining every five minutes; and now with the design ruined, I am going to have to restart the entire process over again!"
As he came to the ending of his words, Sin smashed his hands to his sides which instinctively balled into fists.
Considering that Sin was busy glaring at each of his companions, he was unaware of the portal that was ripping through the fabric of this world. While he wasn't aware of what was happening behind him, Sin could see the shock that was taking hold of his companions' expressions.
Assuming a Fae had decided to try and sneak up on him, Sin reached for his dagger and when he felt it within the palm of his hand; he twisted his body around with his dagger already slashing towards whichever creature that had decided to try and attack him. Doing this, Sin saw that he had no reason to go on the offensive considering that a Fae hadn't been near him though this didn't stop his expression from pulling into one like those that surrounded him.
"How is this possible..." Sin contemplated as he stared at the portal that had managed to somehow appear.
While Sin was preoccupied with the thoughts that were conjured into his mind upon looking at the portal that he had tried and failed to bring forth, one of his companions decided that they would pull him from the thoughts that were preoccupying him. "...I thought that the design was ruined when Sandrin accidently jostled you?" Castien inquired as he brought his elbow into Sin's side.
Turning towards the boy that had just grabbed his attention, Sin held just as much confusion upon his own face as Castien did. "I swear that the portal's design was ruined otherwise I wouldn't have reacted so harshly..." Sin retorted as he turned back to face the portal. "...since it has opened and it looks like all my work wasn't for nothing, I would like to apologize for my words and how I reacted."
Just as Sin had taken his first step towards the portal, the rift between the two worlds rapidly started to diminish and before he was able to take another step towards it; the portal completely closed.
Considering that the portal was just opened, Sin knew that he would be able to open it once more. While he cared deeply for those who joined him on this adventure, he didn't want to risk having another situation transpire where his work was destroyed because of an action that could have been avoided if his companions would just keep their anxiety in check. With this concern for his work, Sin turned towards his companions once more and as he did; a few words were allowed to escape him.
"I am going to return to my work, and I would appreciate it, if you all would take a few steps away so we could avoid anything like this happening again."
