Dealing with Strangers

Screams tore through the area as Sin allowed his Familiars to run amongst those that lay before them. Allowing both Myrin and Inari a few moments more to terrorize those that were harming someone that sounded as if they were a comrade, Sin soon followed them through the barrier of trees that they had vanished behind.

The moment that Sin pushed into this new area, he saw three different beings though currently it seemed only two of them were in danger from Sin's Familiars. While two of the beings were trying to flee from the creatures that were baying at their heels, the third of the beings were busy pushing themselves up from the ground that their companions had flung them upon during their scuffle.

As Sin examined the scene that lay before him, he noticed that the two that were fleeing from his Familiars had scrapes ripping through both their clothes and flesh though considering that they were still alive; Sin assumed that neither of his Familiars felt that they were two much of a threat.

Deeming that Inari and Myrin had control over the situation, Sin allowed his weapon to crumble in his hand before turning his full attention towards the being that was still struggling to get to their feet. Making his way upon the other being, Sin held out his hand for them to take and as they did so; he eventually saw that the being was an elf and from the masculine features that adorned their body, he knew that they were male.

"Thank you for your help..." the elf muttered out as he released his hold on Sin's hand and began to dust off the dirt that clung to his clothing.

While the attire that the being was wearing was like Sin's own, the coloring was completely different. The crimson that was dyed into the shirt that clung to Sin's own body was instead dyed a bright yellow while the stranger's trousers were colored a dark green. When the stranger finished with cleaning his clothing, he brought his head up towards Sin which caused him to cut his words off. The reaction that this elf had almost caused Sin to regret his decision to intervene though before he could begin to do this, the stranger's voice once again broke the silence that had descended upon the forest.

"...you!" the elf cried out in a voice that seemed as if it could barely contain his excitement which was quite startling for Sin considering that this wasn't the reaction that he was expecting or one that he was used to. "You have to be Sin Estiri and if I am correct, then that means that I have now met Kanerra's top Dark Mage Acolyte!"

The once pleasant feeling that Sin had upon this elf's reaction to him was now becoming shrouded in suspicion considering that he was concerned on how a stranger could possibly know his name. While he was suspicious of the stranger, Sin thought that it was best if he kept his hostilities in check for the time being and instead decided that figuring out how this stranger knew his name would be a better use of his time.

"You would be correct in that assumption, though considering how you know who I am, and I know nothing about you; I feel as if I am at a disadvantage..." Sin stated as he crossed his arms across his chest.

Upon hearing these words, the stranger that stood before him was painted a crimson hue as embarrassment flooded through his body. "By the Elders, I am sorry for not introducing myself sooner!" the elf cried out as his skin took on a darker shade of red. "I am Nasir Morro of the elven Academy known as Termine. Myself as well as my companions that have so rudely fled from you are currently stationed at your Academy for the competition that is taking place between both our Academies as well as the orc Academy known as Raxorth." The now named Nasir explained.

Now that Sin knew that Nasir wasn't someone who has been following him and was a potential danger to him as well as his companions, he felt his hostility drift away. Releasing the tension that had taken place within his body, Sin allowed his arms to fall back to his sides. "It has been a pleasure meeting you Nasir though I should probably return to my true reasons for being within the Faelands and you should probably return to your teachers before they begin to fear for your safety." Sin explained as he prepared himself to pull upon the bonds that he shared with his Familiars so he could return to camp and wait for Exodus to return.
