Rushing towards an Alliance

At first light, I need you and the members of your cell to meet outside of the estate of our enemy and don't you dare write back saying that you can't bring all your men! I could care less whether your safehouse is left defenseless. We need everyone we can gather so we can teach that Khesta bastard that he chose wrong when he sided with those monsters!

As his eyes scanned the last of the words that were written upon the page, Sin knew that there was a possibility that he could lose this alliance before he was even able to secure it. Placing the orders that were given to the now deceased leader of this Pure Regime cell upon another stack of papers that detailed other locations where the Pure Regime had safehouses; Sin grasped all of them within his hand once he had them all together.

Once Sin had gathered the intel, he was pushing himself forwards and considering his need for haste; his body unconsciously started to force speed into his feet which allowed him to make it to the threshold of this room rather quickly.

Rushing around the corner, Sin slammed directly into the chest of another. Throwing his head up as well as readying himself for a fight considering that he was fearful that the one member of the Pure Regime that they had captured had been able to free themselves; Sin saw that it was none other than Lucius.

If it wasn't for Lucius holding him up, then he would be slamming face first into the ground of this decimated Pure Regime safehouse. "Thank you, Lucius." Sin muttered out as he untangled himself from the other male.

"No need to mention it..." Lucius responded as his hands smoothed down the wrinkles that Sin had caused upon his clothing. "...what is causing you to rush out without paying attention to your surroundings?"

Looking into Lucius's eyes, he could see concern etched across his friend's face. While he was fearful that the one ally that could be useful in this war between himself and the Pure Regime, Sin knew that he shouldn't rush off to another battle without first explaining what is going on to those who followed him especially considering that they had just finished with one battle.

"I found intel that suggests that the Noble that is supporting my people, is in danger. We need to reach his estate before first light hits." Sin responded after a few seconds of calming himself.

This was all the explanation that Sin could afford to give considering that he could see the darkness that was once present in the world start to lighten thanks to the windows that were present within the safehouse. Throwing himself once more into movement, Sin allowed his voice to bellow throughout the safehouse as he made his way towards the door which they had used to enter the residence.

"We must be on our way! Another battle awaits us!"

Being knew to the city as they were, it was extremely difficult for them to find the estate where Sin was adamant that they needed to be. Hopeful that they would be able to make it to their destination before a slaughter happened, Sin approached as many strangers as he could hoping that they would give him directions to the Khesta Estate though upon sighting his tusks; all turned from him with mutterings that caused Sin's blood to boil.

Considering that he was in a hurry to arrive where he wished to be, Sin didn't have time to argue or fight with beings that allowed their hate to get in the way of helping someone in need. Eventually, just as the first rays of light began to dance upon his skin; Sin located a Elessan citizen that was kind enough to give him directions to the Khesta Estate.

Returning to his companions which he had left standing a little away from where he had been questioning a citizen of Elessan, Sin started to speak. "They said that the estate was just up ahead. We must hurry!" Sin informed his companions before turning from them.

The moment that he was fully turned from his friends, Sin was taking off in the direction that he was told to go. With his wish to arrive before a battle breaks out between the two forces, Sin ended up leaving his companions behind though from the sound of footfalls that were falling behind him; he knew that they were following.

With each footstep that Sin threw himself into, he was able to make the run down the street rather quickly. At first, Sin was still unsure if he was in the right area considering that he didn't notice anything that would indicate that a Noble made his home within this area. This concern was quickly dashed when the sounds of metal clashing started echoing throughout the area.

Upon the street opposite of him, Sin saw two distinct groups appear. One group was proudly flaunting their allegiance to his enemy by wearing their attire while the other was dressed in clothing and armor that was dyed a vibrant crimson and gold. Each group were flanked by reinforcements that would take the place of those who had fallen.

For the first few minutes of sighting the clash, Sin stood there. As he tried to analyze the battle to see what the best way would be for them to enter it, his companions finally caught up with him. As the last of his companions arrived beside him, Mita's voice fluttered out around them.

"At least you didn't rush off into battle before we arrived..." Mita rasped out as she tried to catch her breath and while it sounded as if she had more that she was wishing to say though she cut herself off when she noticed the volume of death that has occurred in the short time since they had arrived here.

Assuming that Mita as well as the others would be too stunned to speak further unless he prompted it, Sin's voice soon followed once the remainder of Mita's voice vanished. "I know that I have just ran us from the ending of one battle to the beginning of another..." Sin started and while he wasn't looking at any of his companions, he still gave them a few seconds to process his words before continuing. "...if we continue to stand here and watch this battle unfold, then we may risk losing this alliance that could help us finally find a foothold within this city though if we fight; then we could risk our lives. What do you think we should do?"

Once again, Sin allowed his voice to quiet, so his companions had time to think through what they were wishing to do. As time started to pass by and the fight continued to run rampant through the streets of Elessan, Sin still hadn't received an answer from those who had followed him. This quiet that he was met with started to cause discomfort to worm its way throughout his body. Along with this discomfort, a worry started to grow that maybe his companions had changed their minds about fighting this war with him.

Taking a few deep breaths to help calm the tidal waves of emotions that were swirling within him, he readied himself to face whatever decision that they have come to. Just as he was turning to face them, he heard a sound that reminded him of crackling electricity. When his eyes finally settled upon his companions; they were immediately drawn to Castien, who had the same electricity that he had heard dancing along his clenched hands.

Castien wasn't the only one who preparing himself for battle. Along with the elven male, Lucius was busying himself by weaving shadows along his body which was causing the other male to start to vanish. Mita on the other hand had mana spilling from her hands which was starting to cause cracks to form within the foundation of the street that they stood upon.

These three weren't the only ones who looked as if they had settled upon war. Walking towards him with determination written across her face was none other than Enmoria. When she arrived beside him, she placed her hand upon his shoulder. "Sin. You don't have to keep worrying about us. We will continue to fight beside you until we rid Everia of the Pure Regime. This is the only way that we can keep you, Sandrin, Corina and every other half-breed out there safe!" Enmoria explained as she pulled her hand away from his shoulder.

Now that Enmoria was no longer holding onto him, she rushed forward. Mere seconds after Enmoria vanished into what Sin assumed to be the mayhem that the battle was causing, the rest of his companions rushed to follow.
