For the second time since Sin had entered Elessan, he found himself surrounded by enemies and while he had put himself there on both occasions; he was growing tired of the waves of enemies that seemed as if they were never going stop. The instincts within him that were telling him to protect those he cared for, were trying to force him to look for his companions though considering that he was amid combat; he feared that any distraction could cause him to lose his life.
Just as another wave of protective instincts were washing through him, Sin noticed a swordsman rushing towards him. As the being swung their glimmering weapon at him, Sin threw out one of his hands which held a blade that he had forged from the element that he had borrowed from Inari.
The movement that he threw his blade into, reacted perfectly. Blocking the weapon that his enemy was wielding caused the being to be thrown back. Seeing this as an opportunity to strike, Sin rushed to act.
Spinning in a flurry of cloth and frozen blades, Sin struck a blow across the swordsman's calves which caused them to come crashing to the ground as the tendons that held them up were sliced clean through. The pained cries that ripped from the being brought a slight smile to his lips as he recognized that these fights that he keeps finding himself in were causing his skill in battle to grow.
Knowing that his attack had most likely put this being out of the battle, Sin still didn't like the idea of leaving a potential threat alive. Coming to the decision to put this being out of their misery, he slammed one of his blades into the swordsman's chest.
Ripping his blade free from the confines of the now deceased being's chest, Sin took a moment to scan the battlefield before him. Just as he was deciding on who he would battle next, the sound of a pebble skidding across the street echoed behind him. While he couldn't know if the being that caused that pebble to move was an enemy, he still wasn't going to give anyone the chance to attack him from behind.
Dropping to the ground in a flash that caused his clothing to ruffle, the sound of something slicing through the air; passed just above him. Now knowing that the being behind him was in fact an enemy, Sin flung himself into a turn that sent his legs skidding across the ground. Using this movement, he took the enemy to the ground when his legs slammed into the appendages of the other being.
Wanting to send this being to the afterlife before they had the chance to recover from his attack, Sin flung himself upon the other being. In the process of the movement, he ended up dropping his weapons though considering that he hadn't pulled his mana from them; they stayed in their bladed forms. Grasping ahold of the being's hand that still held their weapon, Sin started to pry upon the fist that was clenched upon the hilt of the sword.
Considering that they were wishing to keep their hand upon their weapon, Sin had to be more forceful than he was previously intending. Pulling one hand back, Sin sent a blow directly upon the fingers that were clutching at the weapon and from the sounds of snapping bone; he knew that he had broken at least one of his enemy's fingers. The pain from the break must have been too much for the being to take considering that they released their hold on the weapon that a moment before they were clutching so desperately.
Wishing to have the weapon in his grasp before the being had time to grow numb to their pain, Sin snatched ahold of the weapon. Now that he was wielding the weapon that once belonged to his enemy, Sin slashed the blade across the being's throat which sent a spray of crimson soaring from the wound. As the blood was freed from his enemy's veins, he felt it splatter against his skin and clothes which fit it right with the dried crimson that already coated him.
With his enemy dealt with, Sin pushed himself back to his feet and as he was turning to fetch the blades that he had dropped to the ground in the struggle to end the other being he noticed that they were starting to melt. "Damn...I must have instinctually pulled my mana back during that encounter." Sin muttered to himself as he prepared to form another blade within one of his hands.
