A calm peace began to fall upon his mind as Sin made his way through the shelves of books that made up the innards of the library. While he knew that he shouldn't be here now since he had class scheduled at this time, he also knew that he has always felt the most comfortable when he was surrounded by the scent that books exude and with comfort; came the peace that he was searching for.
Considering that he found the peace that he had come seeking, Sin felt that it was time for him to make his way from the library and to class and while he would evidently catch the teacher's ire; he didn't particularly care one way or the other.
In his walk towards the door that would allow him to leave the library, Sin weaved in and out of many bookshelves and while he had visited many within these walls; he came to one that he hadn't yet had the opportunity to visit and since he was already late, he didn't think it would matter if he were even later.
Throwing his gaze around the shelves, Sin searched for any tome that may seem interesting and while many of the books held some interest to him; he hadn't made any attempt to claim them from the shelf. This changed when his eyes landed upon a tome that was titled; Eslium, the Mage Metal.
While he was unsure of what Eslium was and why it was titled as the Mage Metal, he felt as if there were secrets that could be of use within the tome and with this feeling; he was quickly snatched ahold of it. Even knowing that he wouldn't have time to thoroughly read through it, Sin was already cracking the tome open mere seconds after having the tome within his grasp.
Welcome Blacksmiths and Enchanters!
Within this book, you will find out information about the element that is known as the Mage Metal. While this element isn't exclusive to Mages and is found in many objects throughout the world, most beings throughout the known world understand that without this element we would have a harder difficulty finding those who have the potential for magic flooding through them. The element that we will be discussing throughout the entirety of this tome is known as Eslium.
After reading through the introduction that was on the front page of the book, Sin had in no way began to understand anything about the element that was known as Eslium or the reasoning that the welcome only mentioned blacksmiths and enchanters.
Sin had never been able to put something on the backburner when he felt his interest spike and considering that he was already as late as he was for class, he didn't think that there was any real reason for him to rush toward it. Being ready and willing to face any punishment that the teacher wishes to give him, Sin was once more pushing his eyes towards the tome and before he knew it; he was lost within the words that were contained within.
For those who are just beginning their career within Blacksmithing or within Enchanting, I would like to go over a small review. Eslium is an element that resides within every kingdom of this world and while it isn't the rarest within the depths of this planet, it can be quite difficult to mine as well as form into the item that you are intending it to become.
The reasoning behind this, is that Eslium is easily friable and if hit the wrong way it will crumble into pieces which will become useless. To help combat this, we have come into the knowledge that by combining our magic with the use of a Blacksmith's hammer; we are able to help strengthen the element which will then allow it to become more pliable when it is forming into the item that you are wishing to make it into.
Upon learning this, Mages would offer their services to Blacksmiths across the world and while we didn't perform this work for free; we expected them to pay us in the metal itself as well as forming it into an item that could allow us to find those that will become Mages of the future.
Once again, Sin finished the words that were written upon the page and while he knew that there were still much more that he needed to know if he wished to get a true understanding about this element; he had an inkling about what the item that they wished to force the Eslium into.
Looking at the next page, Sin confirmed this and though he didn't fully read the entirety of the information that was written upon the parchment; his initial curiosity was fulfilled and while he was attempting to place the tome back upon the shelf, an idea slithered into his mind. "If I got my hands on a horde of this element, then I could bring forth another group of Mages that would have the ability to combat Sten and his band of racists."
Once this thought fully rambled through his mind, Sin pulled the book back towards him. While he knew that it would be difficult to find an abundance of the element and mold it into the cuff that would allow him to unlock the potential for magic within another being; Sin thought that this was the only way that he would be able to get the vengeance for the horror that Sten had talked Nohki into doing and while he still blamed the other boy for the wound that he was given, he knew that Nohki wouldn't have done something like that if it weren't for Sten poisoning his mind.
From reading through the book, Sin knew that he would have to have some understanding for Blacksmithing as well as Enchanting and since he currently didn't; he went on a search through the library once more for books that would be useful in helping him gain an understanding on these subjects.

An hour has passed since Sin had been in the library. Though he hadn't originally planned for it, he had taken many more books than what he was originally wanted. Tomes about all aspects of magic were currently being packed into his bag along with extra clothes.
As Sin was searching through his clothing, he came to the mask that he was given by Mita's father and while he had never planned on wearing it; as he gazed upon the article of clothing, he could see how he might have a use for it when he was traveling. "This mask, while it might represent everything I despise; could help ensure that I can keep my existence hidden from those who might want to harm me and in turn I could use this as a way to remove them from this world." Sin contemplated as he picked up the mask and placed it within his bag.
With this last piece of clothing packed away, Sin was ready to depart for his journey and while he would miss those, he had been able to gain a friendship with; he was thankful that Castien and his friends hadn't made their way into the dorm considering that this would make it more difficult for him to leave.
Not knowing if he would ever get the chance to see his dorm room again, Sin took the time to take in the details of the room and the memories that came with it. When he felt that he was about to be overtaken by his emotions once more, he decided that it was time he was on his way and before long he was passing through the barrier that separated his room from the rest of the dorm.
