Kissing the fire

Prologue

I almost forgot when and how it started.

People often recognized me as a girl with a bubbly personality. Always friendly, happy-go-lucky and the go with the flow kind of person.

But that one night changed my perspective in life.

I became cold, straight-forward and heartless...

I realized if you're kind, people will always abuse you.

One mistake and they will turn their backs against you.

"Sierra Lianne, remember that you are an Aldana. An Aldana must always be on top. You must not be friends with a Vergara, especially that Zone Ashton."

Paulit-ulit itong sinasabi sa akin ni dad kasi sa iisang University lang naman kami nag-aaral ni Zone. He's worried that we might be friends. Kung nag-aalala pala siya edi sana nilipat na niya lang ako sa ibang Unibersidad.

At dapat nga kinakaibigan ko si Zone kasi mas marami akong malalaman sakanya na pwede kong gamitin para sa kumpanya namin at sa posisyon ni dad sa politika. 

I always see Zone on the campus. He's more popular than me. He seems cold, ruthless and snob. Kahit na maraming babae ang nag-paparamdam sakanya ay tila wala siyang pinapansin ni isa dahil tutok na tutok siya sa kanyang pag-aaral.

I guess dad will not be worried anymore but then...I'm not the same naïve Sierra Lianne Aldana.

I was in grade 12 that time, was 18 years old already and people knew that I am not the Same Era they knew before...

Something changed and they don't know why.

I started dating many boys since grade 10 and broke their hearts eventually...

I know I am a playgirl in their minds and I don't care. Lilipas din ang panahon at makakalimutan din nila iyon. It's not like their world revolves around me.

So when I got a chance with Zone at the library, I grabbed my moment...

I kissed him when he was finding a book in the shelves.

But he wasn't responding so I looked at him in his eyes...

It felt like his stares were burning my system. It looks like he's angry but his eyes tells otherwise.

"Do you want this?" He asked after a few seconds of silence.

I nodded.

"Okay." And then he held my nape and kissed me harder than my kiss.

Our kisses were consecutive in the library. We just kissed and kissed in the dark corner until...a foreplay happened.

I invited him on my spare condo and did wonders on my room. That was the first time, we saw each other naked and passionate about something.

I didn't knew Zone has a side like this.

My family would freak out that I was having sex with a Vergara. But that wouldn't mind me because they wouldn't know and will never know for the rest of their lives.
