Surprise

"Introduce me to an Australian when you get back," kuya pulled my hair after I said that.

"I also want an Australian too, Riri!" Ate Shanika said, bestfriend of ate.

Ate just chuckled at what I said.

"What the hell, Sierra Liane?!" Kuya threw me his dagger looks kaya mas sinamaan ko siya ng tingin.

"Kuya, what the fuck?!"

"You already have many boys here and you want an Australian? Come on,"

"It's not like I'm gonna fuck them," lumaki ang mga mata nila ate at natatawang tumingin kay kuya. Mas lalo namang kumunot ang noo ni kuya.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing," I said and rolled my eyes at him.

Kuya and I set up a despedida party for ate then we called her friends to surprise her after work.

We're just having a chill despedida party here with ate's friends from college and co-workers since she's gonna move to Australia for work to manage another branch there.

I think she'll stay there for 2 years then si Kuya aalis din next month papuntang Norway for his master's degree.

I sighed at the thought.

I'll be all alone sa condo namin and that means I can do all I want but then, I'll still miss them. The condo will never be the same without them.

"We'll make this work," nag-taka ako ng marinig ang boses ni ate sa rooftop.

Dahan-dahan akong nag-lakad nang maaninag ko ang dalawang taong nasa gilid ng railings.

Napatakip ako sa aking bibig ng makitang si Ate nga iyon at si Kuya Gerovick!

Kaya pala umalis kanina si Ate pagka-tapos ng dinner. Sumayaw lang kami kanina then medyo napagod ako kaya I decided na pumunta ng rooftop to chill but I don't expect that I'll see them here...

"I'll tell our parents that we're dating," Gosh! I knew it. "I know they'll accept us. It's not like it's a sin for an Aldana and a Vergara to be together. I don't wanna keep us a secret, Ria. I don't wanna keep you my secret,"

"No, don't do it. I don't wanna keep you my secret, too. But it's the only way for us to be like this...you don't know what our parents are capable of. They've been enemies since the ancient times, I can't risk our relationship especially when I'm going abroad,"

Nakatalikod si ate kaya hindi ko makita ang reaksiyon niya pero kitang-kita ko naman ang reaksiyon ni kuya Gerovick...his eyes were already red and he's looking at ate like she's gonna vanish anytime.

Mas problemado pa pala si ate kaysa sa akin. Kami ni Zone walang label at nahihirapan na itago ang estado naming dalawa, paano pa kaya sila?

She fell for a Vergara and I think I couldn't do that...ever.

"Era?"

My eyes widened when I saw kuya approaching my way. Agad ko siyang nilapitan at hinila palabas ng rooftop.

"What's going on? I want to chill sa rooftop!"

"Kuya, Samahan mo ako sa 7/11 may bibilhin lang ako,"

"What? Pwede ka namang mag-padeliver. Ang tamad-tamad mo tapos bababa ka para bumili sa 7/11?"

Wala na akong nagawa nang alisin ni kuya ang kamay ko at pumasok ulit sa rooftop pero agad siyang umatras at bumalik sa akin with an annoying face.
