I don't care

Hindi rin umabot ng isang oras ang pag-uusap namin ni Clyde. He insisted to walk me to my condominium unit after finishing our drinks and little talk.

I felt guilty that I didn't respond much to our conversation. But we exchanged numbers para naman we can hangout sometimes. It's nice to have a new friend besides corynn and byron.

The day of the finals came and of course, it wasn't easy.

Halos lahat kami ay lugmok ang hitsura hanggang sa last day na ng exams.

"Huwag mo akong umpisahan." Kinumpas ko ang aking kamay sa lalaking ngayon ay nakaupo na sa harapan ko.

"Hey, Ry!" Byron fixed his hair as he batted his eyelash extensions to Ry.

"Hey, ron. Looking good," Ry then winked at byron. My gay bitch friend just giggled. "You,too." Ry also nodded at Corynn. She then gave a half-hearted smile.

I just rolled my eyes at him.

For sure, may kailangan na naman 'to sa akin kaya nandito.

"You still have to help me with the dance steps even if you're one of the contestants," he didn't even plead. Talagang inuutusan niya ako.  My plate is already full and pasalamat nga siya at pumayag pa ako in the first place!

"No, I won't do it anymore. I need to prepare for the pageant,"

Ry chuckled.

"We all know that you always win,Era. There's nothing to prepare for," he then made his way beside me and whispered something into my ears. "Or unless you're threatened by Nathalie, hm?"

I pulled myself from him and raised my on-fleek left eyebrow at him.

"No one's threatened here, ry. Stop and scram," I said before standing up. "Let's go bitches. The cafeteria's too toxic."

I heard ry chuckled like he just triggered something in me.

"Don't worry. You're still his Queen, though," pahabol niya.

Zone and Nathalie are rumored dating because of the kiss that transpired last monday.

Imbes na ang answers sa exam ang pag-usapan ng mga estudyante rito, ang nangyari noong lunes pa ang pinag-uusapan hanggang ngayon.

"I heard what ry has whispered to you," Byron lifted his hands up when he saw me glared at him.

"Let's go to Vera Café muna, era. There's still 1 hour left before the exams," corynn said. We already ate lunch even before Ry came and corynn's right, there still time before rhe exams. Fundamentals of accounting na lang and Mathematics of investment then bakasyon na!

Oh, I almost forgot the fucking pageant.

Hindi na ako makakaatras doon at baka ma-dissapoint pa sa akin si Mrs. Murata.

"I didn't know Zone and Nathalie has a thing, no one even knew, kahit daw si ry or si quiel. Nagulat na lang sila na biglang hinalikan ni zone si Nepthalie," I am trying to calm myself down while we're on our way to the café.

"I wish I was the one, zone kissed," nag-panting ang tainga ko sa sinabi ng estudyanteng iyon.

Bago kasi kami makarating sa Vera Café, madadaanan pa namin ang Vera Corpuz park wherein dito kadalasang tumatambay ang mga estudyante mapa-lower year man o college student.

Yumuko naman ang estudyante nang nahagip ang matatalim kong mga titig bago dali-daling umalis kasama ang isa pang kapwa estudyante.

"Just calm down, era," corynn then chuckled at my reaction.
