The Truth

"The competition's tomorrow. You want me to be wasted?"

"Porket may party, you think you'll be wasted?" Byron said as we were walking palabas ng VCU.

"I was not born yesterday, byron," I rolled my eyes at him.

"I'm gonna go guys. See ya tomorrow!" Corynn waved goodbye as soon as she saw her bodyguard.

"Kung wala kayong dalawa ni Corynn, paano na lang me?" Maarteng saad ni Byron.

"Malaki ka na, kaya mo na ang sarili mo,"

"Come on, era. I'm not gonna let you drink. Besides, wala naman na kayo ni Rovee diba? He won't mind you coming into your Fubu's celebration party,"

"It's Ex-Fubu. We're not even talking to each other,"

"Pero pumunta ka kanina to support his game,"byron chuckled as he thought he proved something.

I just mimicked his chuckles since kahit anong sabihin ko, hindi siya maniniwala sa akin.

"You really like him, era,"

"No, I don't."

"Then prove that you don't like him. Come to the after-party then,"

Wala na akong nagawa kundi pumunta na lang sa party since I know the bitch ain't gonna stop from his banters.

"Bakit puro taga-VCU ang nakikita ko?" Halos isigaw ko na ang tanong kay byron dahil sa lakas ng musika na nasa loob ng bar.

"Nirentahan daw ni Zone ang The Cave para sa taga-VCU lang!" Sigaw ni byron while his swaying his hips.

I wore my see-through white crop top with a black tube inside paired with my denim mini skirt and Doc Marten boots while byron wore a black racerback top paired with his black leather pants and boots.

"Oh, there they are!" He pointed sa grupo nina zone and the bitch immediately pulled my hand without asking me first.

"Congrats, Zone!" Maligayang bati ng bakla at hinagkan pa ang lalaki, "We're so happy that Era and I are here to celebrate it with you guys!"

Napabaling lahat sila sa akin at ramdam ko din ang mata niyang sinusuri ang buong katawan ko. I quickly glanced at Zone before averting my gaze to the guys he's with.

He's wearing a brown polo underneath his white V-neck shirt paired with his denim pants.

I didn't threw a glance at him instead I just smiled at the other guys beside him.

"Si zone lang ba ang babatiin mo, Hans byron?" Malanding saad ng isang lalaki kay byron.

"I think I'm gonna work hard tonight, era," bulong sa akin ni byron bago niya hinatak ang lalaki sa dancefloor.

"Congrats, boys," lumapit ako sa kanilang lamesa kahit alam kong kanina pa nakatingin sa akin si zone. I don't mind. Baka kapag umalis ako ay isipin niyang may gusto ako sakanya kahit wala naman talaga, "I'm a bit disappointed that our team didn't won but I am happy for your success tonight,"

"Thanks, era. Bawi lang kayo sa susunod," saad ni keanu bago tumingin sa likod ko na parang may hinahanap, "Lagi kayong tatlo, where's the other one?" Keanu asked.

"Si Corynn?" My eyebrows furrowed at his curiosity.

"Crush niya kasi," sabi naman ng kaharap niyang si Clent.

"Uy, gago!" Agad namang binatukan ni keanu si Clent, "Hindi ko yun crush. I'm just curious since palagi naman kayong tatlo ang mag-kasama," sambit ni keanu sabay inom sa wineglass niya.
