Taehyung's POV

"I'm very confused to Liam's behavior this past few days. May alam ka bang nangyayari sa kanya? Since you're a doctor, you are really aware what's the changes in his body, am i right?" Tanong ko rito and he just gave me a deep sigh.

"Hay, okay. Come with me." Sagot sa akin ng doktor na kasama ni Liam kanina lang, or should i called him, Jeongyeon dahil iyon ang pakilala niya sa akin.

I am really nervous right now and i can't express my feeling today. Kinakabahan ako at hindi ko talaga alam kung bakit. I'm praying, i'm really praying that nothings happen to Liam, nothing worst happen, please.

I'm a bit surprise when i saw a name card outside of his clinic and he is a 'hematologist' based on the specialty written under his name. As far as i know, he is a doctor of blood? Yeah, a blood doctor. But how come? Wait, i'm really confused. I really need to know.

"Take a seat, Sir." Saad ni Jeongyeon sa akin while i'm slowly locking his clinic door and i walked immediately towards the chair beside his table.

He sat on his swivel chair and slowly opening the drawer under it. He also pulled a folder and place it at his table. He opened it immediately and show the papers inside it.

"Nung naconfine si Jisoo dito due to car accident, nakita ko siya at nasabihan ko si Liam bakit hindi na siya nagtuloy ng meds niya sa akin. Wayback a year ago, nagpacheck up siya sa akin and i've found out that he is suffering from anemia. Sabi ko sa kanya, he needs to take meds regarding to that illness para maiwasan. Pero ilang linggo lang, hindi na uli siya nagpunta sa akin para kumuha o magpacheck man lang uli." Saad nito sa akin habang inaalis ang stethoscope nya sa leeg. Nakikinig lang ako sa kanya habang nakayuko at hindi makapaniwala sa mga naririnig ko sa kanya.

"Then, when Jisoo confined here. Tomorrow morning, i'm a bit surprised when he knocked outside and smiled at me. Akala ko may kalokohan na naman siyang ginawa, but i really appreciate that he offers himself to have a test. Sinabi niya sa akin na, napapadalas ang bruises nya all over his body. Bleeding of his nose and fever. And those are the symptoms of having a leukemia." Dugtong nito sa akin kaya agad ako napatingin sa kanya.

"Then? What happens next?"

"We conduct a CBC tests. And last days, i already got the result. And it's confirmed. He is diagnosed of stage 2, leukemia."

Those are the words i kept hearing and thinking right now. May leukemia si Liam? Di'ba nakakamatay yun? Paano? I mean, teka. I'm really doubting. Napansin ko na lang na biglang may luhang tumulo sa mata ko kaya agad ko itong pinunasan at tumawa sa kaharap kong doktor ngayon.

"Oh no, doc. You are talking to Liam a while ago." Saad ko rito habang umiiyak pero dinadaan ko na lang sa tawa at pagbibiro.

"You're pranking me right? Kasabwat mo si Liam no? O, baka may hidden cameras pa diyan, turo mo na dali!" Dugtong ko rito at tumayo pa ko sa kinauupuan ko at nagikot ikot sa loob ng clinic niya but i can't see any cameras and no Liam here.

My brain is still not functioning what Jeongyeon said a while ago and i'm slowly seating on the chair again behind his table. I'm crying and crying and i really don't know what will be my look after this.

"Totoo ba lahat ng sinabi mo?" Tanong ko sa kanya habang humihikbi at pinupunasan ang luha ko.

"Yeah, i'm telling the truth. I'm also thinking what will be the other theraphies that we will conduct beside the chemotherapy. Dahil pwede lang din makapagpa lie low sa cancer cells niya is bone marrow transplant." Saad nito sa akin kaya napatitig ako sa mga mata nito.
