VIII: Together!

"You!" Said Leah. She stared straight into Alice II's eyes. "Sky. Pierce. Go get Shard. This is my fight now..."

"Fine," said Pierce. "But next time, it's my turn!" Sky and Pierce ran past the two combatants and into another room. Leah then froze the door behind them.

"Pretty bold move..."said Alice II. "But cockiness gets you nowhere around here. If you want to survive, you're going to have to think with your head. That'll be a problem for you though, since you won't have one!!!!!" Alice II dashed at Leah, who began to pull out her katana. Alice II drew her scythe and it clashed with the katana, letting out a mighty sound of sparks. It was time. The battle truly begins.

"SHARD!!!!" Sky yelled as she and Pierce found him next to the monitors in the security room. He was still tied up and had stains of blood all over his body. His left arm was facing the wrong way, and he had shards of glass in his back. He also had cuts in his face, most likely from Alice II's death scythe and a gash in his forehead.

"Shard....we finally found you!" Sky kissed the only part of Shard's forehead that wasn't red. Shard was unconscious though, so getting him out of there was going to be harder than Sky thought.

A long time ago, Sky gained healing powers from her used-to-be mentor Pierce. Up to this point, they never had any use. Sky put her hands to Shard's heart and his body started to glow a pure green color. His breathing started to regulate and his body seemed to be less stressed. The glass fell of of Shard's body and his arm turned back around. The blood all over his body began to fade back into the skin it came from. The gash on his forehead closed to a scar. His other cuts also closed almost entirely, until Shard was finally back to power.

Shard began to wake up and looked at the two people looking back at him. When Shard saw it was Sky and Pierce, he screamed and flailed backward.

"Shard! You're awake!" Said Pierce.

"Get away from me!" Shard yelled. He tried to escape, but the ropes were still tying him down. Sky cut the ropes with her magic and hugged him. Shard was shivering and looked at Sky. "Get off of me!!" Shard released himself from Sky and crawled away.

"Shard...?" Said Sky.

"You....you're not..Sky...you're just another...evil spirit manifested by Alice II! Stay away from me! I won't let you hurt me!" Shard curled up into a ball. Sky saw tears droping from the inside of the ball. What did Alice II do to him? "You....took me from her...took her from me...I can't let you...." Shard fell on his side, still in a ball. His shivering was even worse. He couldn't fight back. He couldn't trust the girls.

Shard didn't know who he was anymore. Alice II took that from him.

"Shard....please.....I....am...." Sky couldn't speak the right words.....so, she instead walked up to the balled Shard. She put both hands on his cheeks, and kissed him. Kissed him on the lips with such passion that there could be a pink aura around them with rose petals and harmonic music.

"............S-Sky......" Shard looked at Sky. He started to cry and fell into her arms, the tears falling down like rain in a thunderstorm. "You....you finally....found me...
