XXII: Another!

"What the heck....?"

Shard, Sky, Alice II, Leah, and Pierce woke up in a damp, dark dungeon. They were chained to the walls, and surrounded by leaking walls.

"Shard, you're finally awake.." Sky said.

"Yeah, wild ride. Where are we?" Shard mumbled.

"In the Incradia dungeon." Alice II said. "Somewhere in Noméré."

"Well, how do we get out of here?"

"Well, first we got to get unchained. I guess they didn't plan on us using our powers." Leah used her magic to freeze everyone's chains, then Pierce used her ground magic to summon rocks and smash the chains, freeing everyone. They then decided to get out through a tunnel Pierce made with her powers.

They crawled through to the central part of Noméré and popped out the ground under an apple cart. They crawled past it and began to walk through town, looking at all the stone and wood houses, the food stands, and all the lively people.

"This is a nice place.." Alice II said.

"Yeah, we can come back here one day, I bet." Sky said.

"When we're not wanted.." Shard mumbled.

"So Leah, why are we here?" Sky said.

"Oh, there's a temple we have to go to at the top of the hill over...there!" Leah pointed at a hill in the west part of town, where a marble colored temple was. "We'll get answers there. Let's go!"

At the Temple... (But you probably could've guessed that...)

"Hey, how'd you get in here!?!" The girl who shot them said.

"Why you little-!!" Pierce said. Leah held out her arm.

"Relax, Pierce. She's a friend. Isn't that right, Lxver-Chan?" Shard stared at the girl with utter suspense, his face flushed.

NO WAY!!! Shard thought. I thought she was dead!! Can it really be..? She looks enough like Alice II to be her twin, so maybe...she really is...?

"How do you knw my name? I want answers, now!!" Lxve said. She pulled out a pistol and pointed it at Leah's head.

"Does the name Lance ring a bell?" Leah said. Lxve dropped her gun.

"How do you..."

"I'm one of his daughters...which makes me your sister. That boy over there is our brother, Shard. Surely Lance told you about us..?"

"H-He mentioned others...a boy and a girl..besides me and...you're here..wait, how do I know it's you?"

"The few of us each have a mark from our parents." Leah held up her arm to reveal a tiny birthmark on her shoulder, shaped like a wing.

"That's the same.." Lxve pulled down one of her socks to reveal a birthmark shaped like a wing on her ankle. Shard pulled down a sleeve on his shirt under his jacket to reveal a birthmark on his shoulder blade, the same shape. Alice II showed her arm to see a black colored birthmark. It was a wing, but unlike the others, it was faced the opposite way.

"I can't believe it. My family...MY FAMILY!!!!" Bursting into tears, Lxve jumped into Leah's arms. Shard and Alice II got in the hug too. They found their sister.

****One Long Explanation later...******

"You want me to travel with you?" Lxve said.

"Yeah, we need your help to save everyone." Sky said.

"I would love to!"

"Yay!" Everyone said.

"...but I can't." Lxve said.

"Awww..."

"How come?" Leah said.

"I am the strongest in all of Incradia, except for the king. He needs me here. I could go with you, but you would have to ask the king if I can."

"No problem, let's just explain the situation." Shard said. The six headed to the castle and came before the king. There, they had to do the explanation again.

"Hmm.." The king, King CJ said. "I see your point. This is very important, and I feel it is best that she goes."

"Thank you, your majesty." Lxve said.

"However, that is only if one of you can defeat me in a duel!" King CJ rose from his throne and drew a katana.

"Aw...shit." Shard said. "Well, who's going?"

"I'll go. This is important, and I'm our best bet." Leah said.

"That settles it. Tomorrow at noon, we will battle. Be prepared, I show no mercy."

"Understood. But Lxve is coming with us."
